Tbh, I'm a little surprised that there's so little Primaris entries so far...

I have so much back log primaris are the lowest thing on my line. They are also super generic, and require too much effort to make them look less vanilla. (My excuses anyway) Plus My goal was to do Emperor's Spears as my primaris army which has fallen off as well...

Both vehicles are about 3/4 painter with their weapons of the chassis, and have been like that since time immemorial...

Photos will follow as soon as I recover them from the chapter's forge's stasis vaults...

Vow complete! I'm working on assembling my next vow but I think I'll wait until next week as I'm off on holiday in a few days.

I won't diverge too much from the thread but my game went badly. Grey Knights are mean! Smite, Vortex of Doom and Gate of Infinity make for one hell of an alpha strike. I lost 1/10th of my army turn one before I could do anything and turn 2 was just as brutal. Still, I got all my models painted for it so I'm pleased with that

Yeah it was great to get all those new models on the table, and I always enjoy throwing a few dice around with mates. It was just a bad match up really, Grey Knights are decent in 8th and my Terminator heavy list (21 in total!) wasn't an ideal challenger.

I needed to make some progress on my backlog. Hopefully I can finish them soon and make another vow.

 

As for the Codex I'm not expecting any units to be dropped, and meltaguns for our assault squads was erratad in not too long ago, it's mostly the chapter tactic. Depending on what we get that could influence how I want run things, particularly with the choice of melee weapon if we get some king of strength boost again. Figured I've waited long enough so I'll just paint things now and if I want different weapons when the Codex arrives I'll switch them over then :)

Frater, I'm going to get in on this eventally. Got the perfect single Captain figure to paint as well, but I have to find enough zeal to finish the 5 terminators for a Heresy project first. That ruleset staying in 7th sapped my will to finish them. I also just need 7 terminators in red to finish my similar 1st company list for the Blood Angels for 8th edition.

 

But I am watching in the meantime and the progress and updates are inspirational!

RTS Vow - tank internals

A spot of tidying needed but I'm pretty much done with the internals.

Now we have a small conundrum. I painted the doors like I have my Stormraven and plan on having them removable (as one day, this chassis may well end up having sponsons added - long story), so the question is, what colour do I do the outside facing internal doors? No chevrons though...

Red? bone? metal? Something else?
