We should be at full complement now Narrative Time has been re-instated.

So when the next combat begins, 7.

I have addressed this in the main thread, but that's not how I'm going to be playing it. The errata specifically mentions that fate points only contribute to cohesion if they are expressly spent for that purpose, and it mentions how cohesion can rise above the starting value in the mission.

Seems to fair to have it as a resource that we need to manage, especially given the powerful bonuses they can be used for.

Not doing too well health-wise today and the World Cup final is on later on. Being part-Croatian, I'll be cheering "my" team on and then probably get an early night so that I get over not feeling well ASAP. This all means that I'll be jotting down stuff on paper but won't post anything until tomorrow (Monday) morning.

@ Dos, go steady old son and get well soon

@ Mol - whoa, awesome gig you wrote up for me  cheers!

Edit: Char sheet updated.

That's nice GM'ing.

Must remember that for my group for future reference - my table looks on failure as the arbiter of "trouble" but inverted is a great concept.  I like how passing the test meant Akkad hung onto the thread, followed down the rabbit hole.

"Nothing the warp touches is whole or truly sane and even great men touched, continued to bear the stain..."

Loved the nuance with the defaced badge as well.  Really well worked.

Pleased you liked it!

On that note, please all take the opportunity to update your character sheets with the appropriate:

  • Wounds
  • Fate Points
  • Grenades
  • Special Issue Ammunition (if you have any)

You should be able to find the links to your character sheets in the character thread.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Atratus hasn't been healed but should have been - because I hadn't put up the end of battle figures Slips missed that he was wounded.

Vaidan has been 'healed, or 'treated' as per the rules, but Slips failed the test. In order to have another go, he needs to spend a fate point, or earn a free fate point by roleplaying his personal demeanour and spend that.

Or wait 24 hours, whichever comes first.

Basically, as a healer in the FFG 40k games, you cant “spame heal” as it were and, in but a few tests, get your whole team back to full Wounds unlike, say, D&D where, as long as the healer has spell slots, they can just dump magic healing into you with the only real limiting factor being how good you roll dice.

I am proof reading my post but wanted to have Sabaan's evaluation of the situation somewhere I felt makes sense. Expect no no drastic actions from my side - I am sticking to Dos request and to give Vaidan a chance to defuse this.
