Heh

I've got concepts in my mind of ideas I'd like to try, but most of them would be heavily subject to GM approval I think...:ph34r.:

Ive legit been thinking of a Raven Guard Character with *FULL* stealth abilities like the RG Guerrilla training to ignore the -30 from sneaking around in PA amongst other things.

Woah, me too.  You know I saw a saw a game where they played a RG Assaulter and Tactical and they both took double team?  It was like watching Who Dares Wins...

Maybe we should get AT and his Raptor and do a whole party... :D

There are options later(!)

*Sighs* I know, I know and I do love Akkad :)

MR.

Oh, there is a lot of good ideas and much fun here. Consider a lot of likes thrown your way....I am too lazy to click them individually today :p

I figured as much on the dodge / reaction thing but will have to keep that in mind. Would more rulewise experienced people suggest to rather dodge or parry and use the reaction to clubbed the GS ... or use the normal attack with the servo arm and the reaction to dodge?

And thanks for reminding me of the Solo Mode! The hatred thing is indeed quite fitting.... The way Sabaan is developing I kind of feel that he would rather trust armour and augments to shield him and dish out with the servoarm. Dodging seems something for puny mortals ;)

Love the Raven Guard and still think a "spin off " is a great idea. With beakies. We do not have enough beakies.

And I could probably imagine a view things you could administer to non prone patient ....

....it doesn't always have to end with the favorite yell of one my friends who chose the healer speciality on his SWTOR bounty hunter : "Healing shot! Take two to the chest and call me in the morning! "

Though a bunch of sneaky marines does sound interesting, I'd have to take a hard pass on Mk. VI pattern, it's like the one amour mark I'm not a fan of...

Ah but if you roll the right history, youd be able to change the helmet or other components out!

Moving on...

I am updating (though I will leave Sabaan out of it, and will edit around Xin's post.)

Xin - your character sheet is out of date - can you let me know what you spent your upgrade XP on after the descent from the Voice of Thunder? I thought you'd bought a second level of The Flesh is Weak, but I'm not sure and would appreciate clarity from someone who knows or can check for me.

It's not just the helm, I don't care for way the whole kit looks... I'm a big fan of Mk. IV, VII, VIII, IX (Grey knight) and X... I'd happily trade down to Mk. IV (if I'm a tactical) or Mk. V (if I'm anything but tactical)

Moving on...

Update (sans Sabaan) is up - Mazer, you can use a free action to have Akkad do whatever to end Genestealer 5 (It's pretty safe to assume you can cause 8 critical damage.)

Once Sabaan's actions are up I will resolve and start the next round.

Slips and Reyner, you may wish to edit your posts retroactively to make them fit a little better.

Oh. sorry. I can't seem to access that properly... think it's an IOS problem. I thought I went with the Autosanguine in the end. Or did I miss something...I ' ll check. And have my update in by tomorrow.

Problem with attacking with the Servo Arm is it's just the one punch, I'd invoke your demeanour - fate point (if Mol wills it  ) to heal up and then try and beat up the Stealer and make it spend it's Dodge.

Maybe multiple attack action?  -10 to his WS for each, but....if you invoke your Solo Mode, this gives you +10 WS against it, cancelling, out the penalty for each of multiple attacks.  Then, when your reaction comes around - down comes the claw and chooses who will stay and who will go - and the Stealer needs to go  You're on your own for the moment old buddy, just like me - Slips has his buffboi hands full trying to kill a Stealer and save Vaidan...

Thoughts?

MR.

EDIT: WOAH did not see that coming! Zap! :O

Slips, I think you've misunderstood the situation slightly - this is prior to Sabaan's post (he might kill Genestealer C)

Neither Solastion nor Vaidan are ganging up on anyone!

GM/Mol Only:

Did Vortis always have that Digital Death Machine?

If not, that was a pretty good bit of sleight of hand. I enjoyed the little man blasting the Stealer quite immensely :)

Nice work My GM. ;)

MR.

Hmm yeah, I was posting quickly from work and skipped over that a Genestealer charged me; either way -10 from the modified WS I got still gives me a straight success to hit the genestealer.

Xin - I am inclined to agree with Mazer here that activating your Solo Mode 'Suffer No Weakness' is the best thing to do here. If you take the 'Multiple Attacks' action, you could use a standard attack with your combat blade and a standard attack with the servo-arm, if you wish.

Alright lads,

Trust me, thanks to a pudgy mortal (and I say that being tubby myself) we've got them where we want 'em.

No, trust me, we have.

MR.

Ok, I am putting an action OOC out so we can finish thus round up. I am writing the in character post as we go long along, so I can break it into smaller bits as combat develops. Feels more natural than just describing combat maneuvers over and over again ....

And I looked into the past .... I decided on the Autosanguine in the end. But I might have forgotten to specify that. Sorry !
