The Inner Circle join the Centurion today, Kept finding more things every time I thought they were finished. 

 

 

 

@Valkia the Bloody: Thankyou, I love adding them in different forces/places. Legio Astorum transfers being my go to.

So I slipped back into lurking and have been fairly quiet on the painting front. 

 

But time for a couple updates. 

Back in February I completed a Levi for the Dark Angels force, but since then I've been in a bit of a slow down. 

 

 

Then decided to build up a Seeker Squad, though they've not got any closer to completion at the moment. 

 

 

Though onto successful progress since then, to break me out of the dip I've been playing around with House Helmawr for a change, with the first of the Enforcers complete.

The idea was to make the pads match the lenses in the helm, in my mind I pictured them giving off a glow as they approach through the Underhive their target. 

 

And of course the Heir the the Throne herself. Lady Haera 

 

 

Bringing me up to date. Currently I'm still working my way through the rest of the Enforcer Patrol, but I've moved a few Astartes back onto the desk so hopefully some progress will restart there.

Those Seekers are nicely done, and I think the glowing shoulders of the Enforcer are a cracking idea. Definitely wouldn't want to see that striding down the end of the alley!

Time for a few new additions. 

 

First up a couple for the First Legion in the shape of a Praetor to lead the current force. 

 

 

 

 

I decided to play with stars again and wanted to make a little nebula on the pad, which kinda works. 

 

Next up, looking slightly more fancy is a Primus Apothecary to keep him alive. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I've magnetised both of their back packs to give me options, and currently doing the same to the Companions that will accompany them 

 

We return to a smoky street corner of the 41st millennium next with everyone's favourite street meat vendor.

I've had the slopper and scavver on my desk for a while now, and I've been waiting to treat myself with this and loved every moment. The scavver will follow at some point, but I had to get the michelin chef completed. :) 

 

I've also completed the rest of the Enforcer patrol, but I need to look at the shoulders again on them as they ended up a bit too pink for what I intended, so will need to be dulled down ect.

@Firedrake Cordova: Thanks, I thought purple adds to the regal look more than the blue. Plus any excuse to work purple in. 

@Grotsmasha:  Lady Helmawr is such a nice model. Thankyou :)

There's some nice work there.  The Raven Guard definitely has a look of the Forge World style to him (realistic highlights and weathering)

I return with more Angels in Black. 

 

First up some Companions to join the Praetor, Jump Packs are magnetised, though just need to actually paint their normal packs. 

 

 

 

The second completion is the first five Mortalis Destroyers, I still need to dig into the box of potential to build another 5, settled on MKIII for the Mortalis variant as it made the most sense to me being the mark was created for those type of actions. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

@JayJapanB Thankyou, I was never really fond of the Proteus, but after giving in I really like it in plastic. Lovely kit. 

 

@Firedrake Cordova Thanks  It hides so many mistakes lol Hopefully I'm starting to get the right amount when it comes to vehicles, I seem to be either not enough, or 'Oh god it's everywhere!' 

Up next should hopefully be another Land Raider or some Interemptors, I've a few things sprayed up ready across the Legions, but hopefully no distractions (no Knight yet   )

Something has been trying to push to the front of the queue, and I only gave in, slightly. Still working on the Interemptors and their Land Raider, but here's the Knight Scion Sabine. 
Twice, I decided it gave me the chance to paint up the on foot Scion I'd picked up, either as an objective, or more likely to stand on the Knight's base on the shelf. 

 

 

 

 

I was a bit worried after applying transfers they'd be hidden in the cockpit but they're still visible so phew!

 

@ZeroWolf Thankyou :) I've tried to keep the same dusty ruined basing style through the whole Heresy collection,  with the thought of dust coating most of the surroundings as the city falls.

So after a small delay The Lancer joins the collection. In the end my free handing failed me and I had to leave off the Manticore from the pads, though I did cheat in places and use a Lion's head to represent.

Time to be a Necromancer and bring this back to life. Though I didn't realise I'd left it this long since updating. There has been plenty of progress to update with, so I'll be adding it in over the next couple days to bring it up to date.

Night Lords time, I'm still chugging away at updating and expanding the 8th

 

First up is two Contemptors, one being a repaint and the other finally getting the paint it deserves

 

 

 

The first of two planned Vindicators completed (second just waiting on weathering, but I keep forgetting..) 

 

 

 

And to some actual infantry in the form of an updated Tactical Squad and a new squad of Seekers.

Another day, another catch up. Nearly there!

So first up is a Pair of reworked Levis 

 

 

Given a nice update, can you tell I like the new blue. 

Followed by the Praetor and Command Squad for the 8th.

 

 

 

And now we're at the end of the Current Astartes updates with a few Loyalist Warhounds in the shape of a Praetor and Primus Apothecary. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

While I've a few other Warhounds pieces near completion the project went on hold due to the release of a certain army which has had my attention since. :)
