Tried assembling my first actual AT buildings and I've discovered the little buttresses are actually required to hold the wall together.  It would've been nice to have an angled piece that can glue in behind the little notches and act as internal support but oh well.  My biggest mistake was trying to be cheap and use 3d printed 3x2 sections to build a roof in one shot, superglue ain't curing fast enough and my fingers are COVERED in glue right now. I can't feel my own fingertips.

A little trick that works quite well, at least for me, is to add 1mm thick plasticard on the back of the panels, then align them perfectly, preferably using something straight (e.g. a straight wooden plank) and a ruler so as to measure precisely the width of the wall you are building (remember 1 panel is 29mm wide, so 2 will be 58mm, 3 will be 87mm, and so on), and then add another piece of plasticard so as to join the x panels you are gluing together. Think of leaving some space at the extremities if you want to add more panels later. This also works with rigid cardboard, coffee stirrers, …

1mm plasticard gives this but you can also use something thicker, just be consistent for all the panels you are gluing together

After that, it is much easier to add the buttresses.

It works also with elements having a face that is less flat, it is just a bit trickier.

I now see why you’re doing that. Also I post from my phone throughout the day, that’s why you see a lot of funky errors in my post as my iPhone’s highly aggressive autocorrect does it’s best to confuse my words. My fingers are covered in glue right now so expect a lot of errors today >_<

Mendi Warrior what sized squares do you use with regards to the textured plexi in your photos, the only stuff I have access to is either 2, 3 or 4mm sizes.

The one you see at the top of the first picture is 2mm, I have already used quite a bit of it. I also have some 4mm but I haven't used it yet.

I have six more chemical tanks printed and ready for priming as scatter terrain when it’s not cold and rainy.

You might have said but I am old and forgetful what printer you got?
It’s a Jellybox 2 kit that we built here. It’s a pretty simple printer made for classrooms but it can do smaller objects okay.

Today I caved and ordered two Warbringers from Dark Sphere. I found that the Astorum transfer sheet is out of stock online, to my great irritation, and I managed to hold off from ordering the starter set on the basis that I really don't need it. But let's be honest, it's just a matter of time. I probably need one more Warhound for my Mortis and the logical choice is to get it with the starter set. That's just maths.

I'll probably do one Warbringer each for my Mortis and Astorum, and maybe get a Bellicosa one for Astorum if and when it comes out. These two guys and the Psi-Titan I've ordered are already plenty of work for me to do.

Yeah, I was not able to resist, and ordered the Warlord-Sinister in addition to a Warbringer-Nemesis and the new book.

LOL @ both of you, some of you guys are closing in on having as many titans as I do.

Am I close? 5 warlords, 2 Warbringers, 7 Reavers and 8 Warhounds? :P

Blimey I'm behind y'all with only 4 lords, 3 bringers, 4 reavers and 6 hounds. Most aren't even painted yet :P
