I think it would be a bit of a loss leader if that was the case Ihg033 :D I too have had no problems with replacements, although you might be waiting a little bit if the stock is an issue. I think someone was waiting a few months in the Conquest sub for replacements but I always received mine within a month.

After numerous emails telling them I have changed address and I want to cancel as I never got anything, they have changed my address on the system and are chasing me for money now when I have still not received ANYTHING from them and told them I want out a few months ago.

Im gonna go scream into my pillow, I dont wanna drag you guys down with me moaning here.

Try to contact Head office Slave to Darkness, they will sort it out for you. If you send them a letter with your phone number they will get back to you and sort it out. That's what I did with conquest with my problems.

Also if you find them on https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.hachettepartworks.com and leave a review explaining the problems you have they will sort it out for you. I did this recently and it was sorted out for me.

If you have Facebook I recommend contacting them via the Imperium page on there - I've only ever had perfect customer service from Hachette when getting in touch through the various collection Facebook pages.

Cheers, this has really cheesed me off with moving house and xmas. Grrrrrr.

Im on a 30 day posting ban lol

They routinely ignored my facebook posts and emails, phoning them was the only thing that got anything done, though it needs to be early in the morning because they never answered later on. *sigh* They get me cheap minis but they are consistently a nightmare to deal with!

I just find it so bizarre, I've had Conquest, Mortal Realms and now Imperium and only ever had to contact Hachette once for an actual "problem" (I needed to change my shipping address, which was done immediately), the other two times were to opt out of extra issues. I don't understand how I can have a basically flawless experience three times over when problems seem to be so common for other people. Edited by Halandaar

You wanted to do a simple thing, change an address and opt out. The system works when its something that the system allows. The problems occur when your case involves something that the Customer service doesn't have the tools to do.

If that happens you need a manager Customer Service person and its dam hard to contact those people. The person I spoke to recently had to do 6+ different things including refunding of issues, which still had to be sent to me because the system doesn't allow you to do certain things. All I wanted to do as swap from Premium to normal. I now have two deliveries repeated but its all sorted.

And when the system automatically sends debt collectors to you(Conquest sub), even though you cancelled your normal and started a Premium months before and instead of it being cancelled the system just hid it away so Customer service couldn't see it and kept upping the payments. I had to contact Head office to sort that out.

If you want the normal service alterations you are golden but good luck when your case involves something out of the norm. Its not the service people, they do what they can, its that dam antiquated computer system they use.

Sometimes its just luck, you did remind me that opting out was easy enough, just everything else :D I think they just have some antiquated systems and insufficient staff really, and obviously arent too bothered about sorting it out.

Think they will refund me the cash? I aint had a thing off them yet so I cant see why not :/  Totally lost interest in this now.

They should, plenty of consumer protection to stop them taking money for nothing

If I get me teef back I may confuse people and buy some of the Primaris Templars... or food, hmm tough one.

If anyone repeats the Primaris comment outside of this thread Ill hunt you down and steal any cheese you have in the house, guys got an image to uphold. :lol

I guess you rolled a natural 1 on your luck test to get that :sad.:

As long as you notified them of your change of address, then them failing to update their system and sending them to the wrong address is their problem. Items sent by a retailer are at the retailer's risk until they are delivered to the agreed-upon address (Consumer Rights Act 2015). I would imagine as with most things, actually getting to speak to a human being would get the issue sorted out. :)

The first four issues of Warhammer 40,000: Imperium are available in Spain and Germany this week from Hachette and your local Warhammer stores, with the collection launching in the United States from the 26th of January.

The magazine will be stocked in newsagents and specialist stockists, while the first four issues will also be available from Games Workshop stores. You can also ensure you never miss an issue with a subscription,, which you can take out directly with Hachette.

We should be about due to have the contents of the next few issues revealed by Fauxhammer shouldn't we?

Nothing yet, although a recent cryptic post suggested that the next update may be the whole reveal?

Seems like Imperium has now officially started in Germany. And I'm still on the fence wether to subscribe or not. The only things I want from Imperium, like want-want, are Guilliman and the Sisters of Battle. I have most of the other marine stuff, don't care about the ATV and have no need for Admech. And the necron side, well, I looove the models and think you get a whole lot of cool stuff with Imperium. But I still have all the Deathguard stuff from Conquest on sprue, so what would I want with another army I'll never get around to.

To be honest, it seems like I shouldn't subscribe, from a rational point of view, just buy the sisters patrol and Guilliman from a store. But I kinda loved getting a weekly Warhammer fix via Conquest. Something about that was kinda exciting and ... gratifying?

Also, fraters, were those Aggressors in Imperium (issue 6, I beliebe) the ETB version again? Only in grey plastic, this time?

Can anybody tell me the exact contents of issue 1? Everything, not just the minis. I subscribed and the first delivery arrived today and it kinda feels that it is mispackaged somehow. Not that the paper stuff matters much, but I like to have complete things...

Shouldn't there be a measurement tool included?

I got the mag, a poster, the playmat with the tokens, the blister with the sprues, bases and dice and 2 identical fold out thingies with lore about the "War of Ramasus" (I assume this is what it's called in English). And there aren't any of those fold out sheets for issues 2 and 3, right?

Also for anybody else in Germany who has subscribed. Is this the same for you?

Edit:

Ok, I just got myself an issue 1 from a physical store and it seems to have indeed been mispackaged. Instead of the measurement thingy I got the foldout lore sheet twice. Wonder how that could get f'd up, it's not like they look similar or are of similar size...

What remains interesting is, if it is a problem with all the subscriber versions or if I was just unlucky?

It happens unfortunately, I am not sure who is distributing in Germany but you should contact them to sort it out. I wondering if I would be able to get single issues in Germany like I cna in the UK. Would save some postage if I could find a Forbidden Planned over here.

What's the price in Euros at the stores?
