I am debating on what to post or maybe just waiting until more of the crew post. While not dumb, Kazimir is no mental giant and so his post at this point would be concentration on driving and the dislike of open spaces. With a dash of a side thought at the two in the Cab with him of vaguely like neither is properly prepared for the battlefield or something. (Arrogance of a career soldier.)

While the Official carries out his inspection here is something for you to discuss and decide on.

Here is a map with a few settlements circled in various colours for identifiers.

Spoiler

The convoy is currently parked on the side of the road just south of the red circled city.

From there team East One will head north westerly towards the mountain chain north of Keringrat, while the rest of the convoy heads eastwards.

At the yellow and orange circled towns East Teams Two and Three will split off. Two towards the source of the big river and Three towards the town by the two lakes.

The remaining three teams will then head eastwards towards the dark red (looks a bit brownish) circled city. This is where the great East Highway ends. East Four will head of southwards somewhere between ornage and dark red, while Five and Six will head northwards the west and east side of the bottom clump of the mountain chain.

So you need to decide how you want to reach your destination. As I see it you have several options, but do feel free to make suggestions.

Head north with Two or Three and hope to find a way across the river/lake and then make your way cross country

Journey all the way to dark red, use the bridge there and then:

  • Head up river on that side until you can turn northwards and cross country your way up (potentially travelling alongside Five for a bit) once you are on the west side of the mountains.
  • Head up the coast and see if you can cross the mountains by the PDF station (potentially travelling alongside Six for a bit).
  • Head up the coast until either of the settlements and see if you can cross the mountains in the ‘hilly’ gap.

This is assuming that you still have the Lakeside as target one, if you change your mind then some travel option become less or more relevant.

Dark Red, up the coast to the PDF station looks like the quickest possible route, if there is a navigable gap there. If not, going up further to the settlements and then crossing the gap would be prudent. I don't think trying to go cross-country all the way without a lot more supplies and spare parts would be the best idea.

If suggested in Helenes presence i'm sure the noble would oblige, though until then Aria is tasked as her bodyguard.

Since Petragor is down with a cold I could Autopilot Helene to set this up if you want.

I'm away most of tomorrow anyway so it's not a rush. If TechCaptain wanted to get the narrative rolling Aria fights with an opportunistic and inelegant style (initiaitlly defensively) uncharacteristic of your typical death cultist or sellsteel, adjusting her position to see if Kasimir follows or holds his ground.

Kazimir will be fighting with an aggressive style that takes little heed of injury as long as it’s advantageous.  He is a combat pragmatist and versatile improviser, capitalizing on any opportunity available to surmount opposition.

and taking it slow is fine with me. This is mostly getting my rough soldier to start opening up. Right now our team is mostly individuals.

Standard Melee attack, no modifiers (for now) and unarmed. So WS test - Looking at your character sheet you have WS 35.

Then decide if you want to dodge/parry (should it become relevant) and roll apropiet test (dodge and WS respectifly)
