My initial thought is for Ravia to protest about Kasimir being an Ogryn, to give testimony about his IG service/injury in the Emperor's service, and then pivot to the fact that none of the team knows Da or his friend.

Ravia's Defense of Kazimir is better than anything I could think of. I was going to have him play into it again being that quiet sort anyways but this is much better.

I thought that having her be abrasive and fairly arrogant towards the "enemy", while pointing out the fact that Rahul is basically accusing without any proof a veteran IG member and a tech-priest might work well.

I was reading Machine God’s post as Varn ‘finding’ the pouch with the personal affects, not the one that had had the 45 Thrones.

As such I’ll wait until he has confirmed either way before replying.

 

 

As it stands  Machine God, please give me a Difficult (-10) Fellowship test. This is opposed to Overseer Von Herz to see if he believes someone of such low status. Whatever Sergeant Rahul’s faults, his opinion on Officers and Spire Nobles are probably entirely justified in Eadwins case.

 

Varn also needs to roll a Challenging (+0) Intelligence test opposed to Rahul.

 

Lastly one Easy (+30) Fellowship test for Ravia (after all she has no reason to not trust Varn’s statement, and as such would herself speak with pure honest intent), this is whether Overseer Von Herz believes her.

Sorry everybody, I thought I had posted the story reply on Friday evening as I knew I’d be busy on Saturday, but apparently I did not, oops. Anyway post is up.

 

Lord_Ikka, you don’t need to produce an actual written report (unless you want to).

I say we press on to the port, we can make some good time and Scout ahead. Besides, out of character, it is the more exciting option No?

My character and I will push for the slow and steady approach and stop early especially since he isn’t a great driver just a passible one.

Ravia would prefer to get to the site as fast as possible, but will vocally err on the side of caution and not risk the Omnissiah's wrath by possibly damaging one of his blessed machinces.

There will be at least two, The guard will point them out on the map if asked: ie I will provide an amended map in due course with places of interest that have been enquired about.

@Machine God, what sort of things is Varn looking for, just so I know what needs anotating on the map?

 

I'll try to have the new map up by tonight, so if there are any other locations within the city you want to know about let me know or ask the guard guard in character.

Gun smith, Traders, Saloon, things like that. Places to gain knowledge of local area etc.
