Is it worth Decimus blasting the rating horde with his heavy bolter?  or should he just chainsword some fools.

Also someone take out the heavy weapons guy, he is probably the one guy with a weapon that can actually really hurt.

There appears to be some sort of cover between us and them, so I am inclined to say hold on the heavy bolter for now. Assuming those crates or whatever are line of sight obscuring then the heavy weapon trooper should also have no line of sight to us for the moment.

As two on the right hand side are out of it for a while due to Fear I am inclined that we try and take care of that side first. Looking at the disposition two of us should probably be sufficient.  Svelk, Vesalius and Brynjarr are closest. I am happy to move up and shoot at C, G or F (as D and E are both unconscious and next to each other) and in future turns charge one or a combination of them.

For the sake of fairness, I'll clarify the crates in the middle are low enough to be seen over (or see through gaps between, etc) but high enough to provide cover? Although as positions stand, I'd probably put a decent negative mod on hitting the HW trooper, just for being able to pick out 1 individual behind the big squad?

Svelk's currently thinking on taking out the lone trooper on the leftmost section of the right, then running behind the cargo containers in the north to flank charge into the horde, possibly the heavy weapons trooper if he's not already dead.

Odysseus up, one dead officer and a mangled horde. Could have gone for the heavy weapon but it didn't seem in character at in the moment.

If Kai gathers the squad up he can grant +5 to all rolls and a single squad reroll each turn, quite a handy little bonus when not running solo.

Blimey...

That was supposed to be a fairly easy opening fight, but I thought they might actually get a shot or 2 off!

I may have to seriously rethink the battles to come...

Added action and roll for Svelk, who missed.

Also, if the bulkhead opens for that horde, then following hot on their tail as to avoid being delayed by having to cut through the bulkhead, might take priority over mopping up as long as the bulkhead doesn't come down and cut off half the squad from each other.

D'oh! You do get 2 attacks from Swift Attack, don't you? So you can give it another go!

Edit: Nope, never mind, cos you Charged.

Edit edit: Both bulkhead doors are shut when you exit the Shark.

Thanks Mol, drew the background shapes in Paint, then took your wise advice and used PP to add all the moving pieces!

@Beren: the Rating can't actually hurt you so there's not really any point in belabouring the fight and going into another Round? If I end Structured Time, do you want to just kill him off narratively? (Someone can deal with the unconscious 2 on the right and the remnants of the horde too...?)

Yeah, I'm fine with that.

For future reference and my own edification: I thought Swift Attack only acted as one of the potential prerequisites for the Multiple Attack action, rather than giving an additional bonus to other attack actions?
