Got another couple of hours of work in. I think the Exalted Flamer and disk are done. At least they're assembled for now. I've got the base put together, primed and highlighted and hopefully I can get the rest of it done in the next couple of days.

Are you planning on leaving the white sections of flame as they are? It might just be being washed out in the photo, but I'm wondering if they could benefit from a little bit of colour to add a bit of definition?

Wow, the flame effects are looking great! I'd agree with @Firedrake Cordova that the white could do with a little more of a gradient into the colours.

Yeah I definitely agree. Are you guys thinking a yellow wash would suffice? Or perhaps a watered down blue to show that portion of the heat spectrum?

Well, it's warp-fire, so basically any colour you like seems appropriate  

 

As long as it shows up the shape/texture, then I think any option is good - it could be a dilute yellow, or a blue.

I added some blue wash to the white portions of the fire but they're not showing up well in the photo. I assure you they're there!

Finally got around to finishing the Burning Chariot! The blood on the base still needs to dry and I'm thinking of adding a contrast yellow and red under the flames, but if I don't it's good enough for me haha

 

 

I made some progress on the Changeling but not really enough to post, I'm thinking another two nights of work and I should be able to wrap it up.

Was able to get some work done on my Dark Apostle and finished up his Disciples this week. Need to apply silvers next to hide the lazy contrast applications on the DA.

 

 

I feel like I've got a ton of red cloaks, any idea what else may go well on him? Reminder I'm colorblind so that's a legit question haha.

Still have to wait for oils/enamels to dry overnight and matte varnish, but calling this boy done for the sake of being impatient

Finished up a 3d print proxy for Skullmaster one of my buddies made for me. Not really pleased with how it came out (not to mention breaking and losing the chain he's holding onto lol), but the face lost some detail on the print that I was fine with.

There's a local rtt I'll unexpectedly be able to go to, so pivoting hard to crank out my next 2 war dogs.

Hopefully that airbrush will help you get the war dogs finished off in time for that tournament. It looks like you're off to a good start.  

 

As for the mat ... better the paint get spilled on that, than the table

Late night, but was able to get a little bit of progress done tonight. I used the vallejo metal air line for the legs and torso sides and was really pleased with its coverage.
