Coincidence - nothing more. Too much call of cthulu, mate. :whistling:

Never actualy played that.

Edit: are there any refirgation/chilling/climet controll units or other non wrap related reasons for the rhime? trying to work out how paniced Bardas should react.

Suspicious much?

No mate, Bardas would recognise this as a preserving casket. It's fairly standard, and the rime of ice is merely a by-product of the chill of the casket. Your character would understand soft materials containing water (rose petals) would accrue this icing naturally.

After the weirdness of the showdown in Lady Magda‘s audience chamber, and the events at the Librarium I feel any psyker and related derived paranoia is entirely justified.

Falk will be looking at that envelope regardless of Bardas' success.  Trokair - unless i've missed something obvious before calling in the arbites?

go ahead, i'll post after dinner with my test to see if we can connect through

Edit: Well, that is some answers. we may have found a corner piece of the puzzle.

Not sure if Falk is going off on completely the wrong direction with this  - IIRC the third sister referred to the younger sister, yet that would have been Gwynne... ?

Columbo he is not :p

@A.T. Should we pick up or claim wrong number?

Depends on who Bardas has managed to get in contact with.

Flipping 'eck, was that 100 three times in a row? That's literally a 1 in a million chance, right? :jawdrop:

Yep. I just stared at the dice for a while then rolled them a few more time just to see. Next one was 58 and the rest I don't remember now but no additional100s, hopfullly seen the last of them for a while.

Sorry @A.T. you may want to run very very fast, I have now idea what will happen with 7 DoF

If it's any consolation no-one actually knows about the back way in to this place, so a signal fix will be leading them to the front door. It does rather cut off Bardas' route of escape.

I wouldn't advise rushing the bridge and having to make agility tests though :p

@Trokair Were you wanting to slip out the front door?  Falk will answer honestly if you choose to remain

@GM - Would a medic-marked arbite be normal in these types of forced entries or does this seem like someone who knows what is here and shouldn't ?

He's been attached due to the report of an officer in danger, and since Falk was unresponsive, they decided to come in. His equipment and dress order are exactly the same as the others apart from his medical gear. You would be aware this happens where resources allow (the upper hive).

These lads are basically the Arbites half of Kill Team: Soulshackle, if you've seen that.

I don't know, do you think it would help Falk if he went or if he remained?

So with dogo? as that might influence decissions.

*Sigh*. You just want to pet the doggo, don't you?

The real question is do you want to run off solo, or shall we get the party back together :p

It's nice to be understood by players.

On occasion. ;p

Bardas has a paranoi streak so I think he would want to make a run, but working together seems to be getting us more answers.

I was more thinking if they had one it be hearder to slip away.

What have I missed.

No, no Doggo.

If you want to slip out, you can do that. Completely up to you what you want to do, this is 87.34% Player Driven.

Once you boys have made your decisions, we will end this segment and then roll everyone onto Part 5.

@GM - Falk would have instructed the arbites to bring those pieces of evidence that could be removed, to protect them from the fire. The cogitator and tau artifact in particular - can't have the evidence burn up.

(didn't want to add it to the IC post as it would have been after the fact)
