Just getting back into the hobby after being gone for about 9 years. Making my own chapter that was founded after the first Terran Crusade by the Black Templars and Imperial Fists. Think World War stormtrooper types. Use BT rules. C&C welcome. Plan on adding some fluff as I go also

Incursor Squad "the Fen Jackals" seen as somewhat devious but highly effective Phobos armor is approved for Doom Warden use as it allows them to get close enough to strike foes they may otherwise have to shoot.

Eradicators fire support Squad for "opening" enemy armor and fortifications

Neat color scheme. The green really “pops” against gray and black.

Thank you I originally had a more subdued green but I tried the warpstone glow and ended up liking the contrast more than the muted colors.

Making some relic terminators and I want options. Nothing a drill can't handle.

I really like these, the green stands out really well and breaks up the metallic areas nicely.

Thank you. I started out with Caliban but there wasn't enough contrast to make the model look good IMO. I then thought about doing castellan green and doing an almost metal and camo blend. This is warpstone with a moot green highlight and I really like the contrast it created.

Nicely done. Given any thoughts to panel lining the armor and weapons?  I find doing so helps add depth to the gear and the model has a whole.

I have been meaning to I'm a newer painter and I'm not super confident to try. Does drybrushing work? Or do you mean edge highlighting?

Dry bushing will allow you to hit the raised areas somewhat similar in scope to edge highlighting. 
 

Panel lining, pin washing and such is were the paint (usually oil because it’s flows much better than water bases) flows into the cracks and crevices. 
 

I’m fairly new at pin washing myself but this video helped me out.

Ok I'm gonna try it out on my next batch any suggestions on brands?

Sorry for the delay. Work has been bananas.  I used tamya (spelling?) for the black panel lining. They also make brown, gray, and green as well.  If you get some paint thinner, you can clean up any excess/spill over once it drys (which takes a while since it’s oil based). 
 

if you want to avoid messing with oils, you can just you a water based wash which does something very similar; they don’t flow as well and stains the layers below if you allow the wash to pool.

You should be! The squad looks great, your colorscheme works well on the larger Terminator frames. I also really like how they each have a different weapon as their heraldry. Gives them a nice subtle individuality.

Looking really good! Edge highlighting looks very clean and precise

 

This could be because I'm pretty colorblind, but the silver of the body is a little hard to differentiate from the black (more so on the vanguard vets) with it's light edging. Maybe a deeper black with bluer highlights could make it stand out more? Could just be the light source for the photos is just washing it out though
