UK prices for those that are interested.

Where is this from?

I've no reason to think it's not legit, but there's no price document up on the trade resources website this morning which is where these sheets usually come from. Have they started not uploading them and just mailing them direct to account holders?

It was shared on a local group. I presume it's sound as they always share the info. No idea about mailing element.

£135,... so potentially £108 from a 3rd party seller - I'd previously justify around £100 on a boxset like this but given it is my main, nearly 30 years strong, army I could push a bit more. Especially as it has upgrade sprues and transfers I can use across my unbuilt stuff.

I signed up for the Darksphere register of interest but was a few days late to is so probably will have missed out. If not, I have to convince the other half that this is a great saving and it can be my birthday present  (March so could work)

Doing well on my resolve to not buy anything new this year other than paints/brushes!

Yeah, it's weird that they seem to have changed the resources list and no price list (yet?).

Been really looking forward to this box. Terminators are my favourite marine unit and the Deathwing are arguably the most iconic. Been prepping the unpainted dreads and land raider I kept from my last attempt at a DA army back in the day to add to the Bladeguard I made after not being able to get the Lion Guard box. All I need is this box and the Lion to make the army I want.

In this case, they're going to make a certain amount and that's that. All the miniatures and the Codex Supplement are going to be line items.

It's why there's no point in a made to order run for these. You'd get it after the kits are just released individually.

Which is why I hope when all these get bought up by scalpers they end up eating them.  Just wait a month and buy them individually instead of paying 2-3x retail.

Lore article for the Risen Companions, but not much there we didn't already know from when they were revealed.

I just find it funny. Apparently nobody can figure out who these mysterious new guys are, who started popping up when Johnny returned alongside his Fallen/Risen buddies, which is sure to be a total coincidence. It truly is a mystery, because the Inner Circle are apparently stumped... lol.

The Inner Circle. Masters of secrets, each one with a venerable warrior and strategist with centuries of experience. Hand-selected members of a hunt spanning ten thousand years, where even the tiniest hint of a coincidence must be obsessively tracked down and investigated until the bitter end.

Random guys show up in ancient Dark Angels regalia:

The Inner Circle: "whu happun?? "

Does it even matter if the Lion himself says they're okay?

Given the Lion's precedent for punching the head off of dissenters...

I too know nothing of who these Companions could possibly be!

Well, in fairness, as far as the Dark Angels are concerned, the Fallen/Risen showed up once in the middle of a highly chaotic battle and were all supposedly killed, conveniently leaving no bodies behind. Most of the Unforgiven are probably unaware that they ever even existed.

As for these new and obviously-totally-unrelated "Companions", the outer portions of the Inner Circle might be placated by the idea that they are Heresy-era loyalist Dark Angels who were in some kind of secret long-term hibernation akin to the Primaris marines and were reactivated by the Lion himself at some point after he awoke. Not that they're likely to receive any formal explanation at all, but a rumor to that effect whispered in the right ears might satisfy a lot of suspicions.

Given most Space Marines in the Chapter are left out in the dark on a lot of things, really it'd be only the Inner Circle that would have any clue otherwise. And if they don't say anything, then the rest of the Chapter would just stick with the rest of the weird stuff the Deathwing/Ravenwing/etc. do that they don't know about.

The DAs are also big believers in compartmentalisation of data. Information is always on a need-to-know basis, that is pretty much the foundation of the Hexagramatron.

The Lion turns up with the right codes and introduces a new sect of warriors who's performance is beyond reproach. Who is going to argue?

They may not be redeemed fallen as such, rather they may be loyalists who were part of the Caliban garrison and were scattered with the fallen.  We know from the heresy books and angels of darkness there were some loyalists present.

My big question: they communicate on heavily encrypted vox channels… yet have a vow of silence?

Awesome models for sure.

That's actually exactly who the Risen are according to Son of the Forest. The true Fallen were not the ones who joined the Lion upon his return, rather it was the unfortunate loyalists who found themselves tarnished with the same brush due to simply being on Caliban at the time and who have spent their time since being spat out by the Warp on the run as renegades rather than full-on heretics.
