Had hoped for decent HH reveal, so that’s disappointing. It’s the only GW stuff holding my interest these days.

I've bounced off 10th Ed pretty hard and it doesn’t help that the armies I have any interest in have already had their books and models shown or released and they’ve been pretty lacklustre imho (apart from maybe the terminator and sternguard kits).

30k being a 'teaser' and not a preview is a bit annoying, I just want to see what they've already announced is coming: the Command Squad and the absurdly long-awaited melee weapons set. Hope they're shown soon.

Same although my optimism for the command squad is diminished having seen the Solar Aux command squad I imagine it's just an upgrade sprue with some bits rather than a set of fully artificier bodies.

Certainly better than to find that out during the stream.

That said, with what is likely AoS 4th ed eating most of the runtime and Horus Heresy & Necromunda just getting teasers (expect that to be Monday reveal and Heresy Thursday filler for a while), one wonders what's on show for the other games.

Probably not anything T'au for 40k, since we've seen everything new for them in 10th and their preview box is already announced for pre-order.

This is my fear. It should be something great but I'm concerned we just get an upgrade sprue. Regular armour doesn't suffice as artificer.

it's way better to be told that in advance.

oh 100% I'm glad that they're getting slightly better at managing expectations.

I really, REALLY hope not, but I'm worried that there is a good chance that you're right.

As to what I'm expecting to see revealed. Chaos is next up on the docket, so that seems likely, hopefully some new Bikes and a Termi lord/Sorc, but I still kinda expect bikes to come with EC for some reason. we might also get a tease about the Redacted/Imperial Agents codex, although that might be a little too far out i guess.

Killteam will almost certainly be GSC vs Votann

AoS will almost certainly be the star of the show, although I'm hoping that we get to see *some Dorfs for TOW.

It'll probably be some chaos reveals and maybe a road map update but that's a big maybe. Kill team will be the reveal of one or both teams of the next box (currently rumoured to be Votann v GSC)

Honestly I suspect those might be in the 2 Heresy Thursdays after Horus Aximand, which is why they don't show them in a "big" preview show.

I'm pretty set on the command Squad being an upgrade frame.

Using the amazing power of holding a mk3 marine up to the video of the chap with the flag and altering the angles I'm pretty certain I've identified which plastic marine it is

To be honest, I suspect it'll be an update to one of the two Terminator kits next for an armour refresh, as they highlighted they knew about the scale issues with Cataphractii/Tartaros after the new Indomitus was shown last year. We could earnestly go another year or two before another PA needs to be touched upon.

I could see a rescaled Tartaros happening, especially as it gives them an excuse to release an as-yet conspicuously absent generic Tartaros Praetor (since the Praetor Tribune was an event exclusive).

Cataprachtii on the other hand might persist for a good while longer, if only because they're in the Age of Darkness boxset. I guess that might depend on if they're doing a three year cycle for 30k, though that seems unlikely.

Hopefully TSons get some Tartarus Terminators soonish.

The fact that their unique Terminators (who are supposed to be the same group who become Scarab Occult Terminators) are in Cataphractii rather than the Tartarus armour the SOTs have irritates me to no end.

To be honest, I'm expecting the whole thing to operate in a similar nature to other Specialist Games (Necromunda and MESBG notably, not Blood Bowl.) We'll get a core box update every few years, with some new miniatures in the box and updated versions of the core rules with all prior FAQs/Errata rolled in.
