Seeing as I can definitely field at least a couple units of these just from conversions from ten years ago, it's a little depressing that I've never tried them. Will try them soon mayhaps in a Lost and the Damned style list...

 

Feels like they'd be way more fun ~20 pts cheaper and if reinforceable to mobs of 20. The turn 1 flanking maneuver is fine as far as special rules go, but they are dead weight from a damage perspective and just far less efficient than the other cultist units even in the action monkey role. As-is I'm gonna find it hard to find a place for them when 10 of these are almost as much as 20 cultists, and for 5 points more I've got 8 Accursed who do everything the Fellgor's do just... better.

 

I definitely want them to be good... and they could be, they just aren't allowed to be good I think.

 

Honestly the best use for the minis right now is just proxied as Accursed Mutants tbh (excepting the larger base size), and indeed the two profiles are pretty dang similar!
