Yessss give me my tiny Horus Heresy! I was lamenting a lack of new releases the other day (while looking at the tiny mountain of unbuilt/painted stuff)

Storm bird and/or tiny custodes please.

Is WarCry the only system missing? Looks like an amazing slate!

No MESBG but their reveals have always been a bit weird about when exactly they appear. Oh and no Underworlds either.

No Aeronautica either I suppose  ;^)

"Old World, massive thing, two heads"

Chaos Dragon.

"New Necromunda box"

Maybe the rumoured new starter with the redone Escher and Goliath gangs?

"Blood Bowl, return of whatshisname"

No idea, could be anything.

"The rest of the models for that Horus Heresy thing"

Everyone in the plastic HH side of things is more or less in need of "the rest of the models" so, again, could be anything.

"The new Kill Team set is off the scales"

Scales, dinosaurs, Exodites, trivago.

There was a rumour about Eldar Vs. either Orks or Chaos, and also rumours for both Exodites and Ork Nobz in Kill Team. Put them against each other, release around the same time as the Ork Codex, job's a good'un.

This was probably when they were going to reveal the prepainted terrain by the sound of it, but that train has sailed, so just the Codex reveal now. We're getting the weekly reveals for the campaign starting next week anyway.

Good sir, you have won the internet today with this joke :biggrin:

I hope the Kill Team reveal is for this year’s season, looking forward to whatever is shown (Exodites are too long due to be done in miniature form), especially if there’s some nice new terrain that goes with it

There is at least likely to be a set of ruined vehicles, that can also be used as dense terrain on the objective/terrain footprints. I'd assumed that was going to be in the Kill team box but perhaps not. Someone commented that some of the wrecks in the promo photos didn't look like conversions but moulded pieces and the response from GW facebook wasn't an outright denial.

I’d think the big plans for our side of the hobby  would be fleshing out custodes for HH (and hopefully pulling those awful 40k ones), Grey Knights as they’re as close to a dead range as you can get with nobody wanting dwarf marines when all they friends have an extra inch on them.

I've got to think Grey Knights are going to be one of the ranges out early 2027, if not a Q4 Christmas Kill Team release.

Though of course, for those poor cursed GK players, the fact that their terminators can now be taken by pretty much half the player base means they are going to be out of stock for the whole edition anyway if they look half as decent as they should do....

Necromunda box will be interesting, if purely because I do wonder if they'll pull the trigger on a new edition eventually. I'm guessing not, and if not, a box set probably means the current edition will last another year.

Hope we get some info about what the new 11th edition codices actually contain. If all the Crusade content is getting cut, I really hope there is something to make up for it. Making the Crucible of Champions stuff a standard codex feature for example. Otherwise, a roadmap would be nice, if purely for myself to see if Valrak is right that T'au and Custodes are indeed next after Space Marines and Orks.

Could be almost any number of things for Heresy tbh. More Custodes is one option, but Mechanicum and Auxilia both still have holes in the plastic range. Then for Marines stuff like Destroyers, Seekers/Recon squads, Bikes and Land Speeders are all still needed.

Killteam could be anything but Orks seems likely.

40k Will be the terrain and the first codex, maybe some of the models coming with it.

Legions could be almost anything. Plenty of holes in the Marine range still, and legion specifics would be cool. Skitatrii would also be nice, so would Secutarii and Ordinarti. Custodes is a possibility.

Part of me thinks it will be mounted cavalry Exodites vs Chaos SM Bikers (possibly with an Emperor’s Children paint scheme?) for Kill Team.

I'd like such a MadMaxian setting for KT. Fast vehicles, hit and run tactics, rapid oblique movement... I do miss GorkaMorka.

If KT does turn out to be Exodites I will be going feral until I have them in hand.

I have long resisted the temptation of the alien, but promised myself I would cave if we ever got space elf dinosaur knights.

I would prefer this lead to a full stand alone army but if they end up like Harlequins and Corairs as part of the wider Craftworlds codex I won't be mad. Gives me an excuse to get the other models in that range I really like.

I know I will be disappointed most likely but I'm sure other reveals will help soften that blow.

I can hear my wallet screaming in terror.
