Well, I was planning to write some more violence into this segment but I was distracted by some unassembled Imperial guardsmen

Captain Fuzzball if you could PM the plot arc to me that would be tops.

Abriel broke into a shuffling run spinning his top half wildly. Haralti brought his power sword up in a mocking formal salute and met Abriel head-on. The two combatants met in the middle of the hangar Haralti read Abriel

Very nice,

Ok people, I don't know about you but I'm feeling that trhe endgame is coming. The heretics aren't looking so rosey are they?

I send out a deperate plea to you guys who haven't posted rescently(I know I haven't so this is to me to), please write. I reay enjoy reading this stuff and it's a shame that so many poeple have droped out, so come on, get posting! :cuss

And to keep my promise:

The lava rivers flowing around him, Iziha survayed his position, in the middle of a lava river on a small island his condition wasn't looking to rosy. The rest of his kill team had long since died. The had been ambushem by deamons, strafed from the skies and drowned in rivers of lava, Iziha couldn't think wich of thos deaths would have been more painful, but he had watched them all die, that had hurt him more than any wound could.

Banishing the mecarbre memories he prepaired to jump, it was atleast five metres to the other side. Usualy not a chalenge for him, but when you added the white hot lava factor it became harded. Judging the dustance carfuly him took a step back the jumped. That step saved him. He managed to to get enough hight above the lava to not he deep fried, he hit the other side hard, and rolled into a crouch, nothing hostile so far. H e stood up cortiously and unholstered him bolt pistol, moving to wards the looming volcano.

+++++++++++++++++

In space, battle stoped. The plague fleet had been driven off and all looked set for the master stroke of Xerian's plan. His company had been the bait, drawing the Plague marines out of the warp, although the Salafain raiders, declaired missilng by the Inquisitor had not been the best allies, they had proven themselves in battle yet again. Even now the Angles of Lament were headig this way, more chapters were coming from their conflicts. The Bolter and Chainsword kill team was on the main Reble base of Garren III. Now Garren I had to be cleared, the end game had begun......

++++++++++++++++

Hehe, got to go now but the plot should come out today, to those who want it

cheers

Uriel sat in his command chair on the bridge of the Unending Vengeance in deep thought; he had just come from many days of fasting, penance for those that had fallen in the battle with the lost ones. In this time, reinforcements from the 6th and 8th companies had arrived which had brought the 3rd company up to full strength. The fleet was in full motion; they had left the Suro system and jumped into the warp only hours ago, making way for the Garren system at all speed.

He remembered when the transmission for assistance came, the reinforcements had arrived for mere minuets when he was called to the bridge, information was given to him by the commander of the Adeptus Astartes forces in the system, he now knew exactly what he and his marines need to do, the plans had been laid, they would purge traitors once more.

They were the events of the past day, now he sat and waited, his mind wondering, he would get to grips with these minions of chaos again, but now he can do nothing but wait till they arrive in the Garren system.

Hi all

Right, I've been performing on stage most off this last week, but now I'm rerady to rumble. Bro Kael and Betrayer have got some interesting stuff planed, as do I.......

But I'm going out soon and the next parts gona be long.

till tomorow

Hi

Ok, sorting out the Battle on the planet I'm on, the assult on Garren II the main reble base begins soon...................

Garren I had once been a verdant, agri world. It's hundreds of miles of crop feilds and huge, insulated agri domes had provided food for the entire capital system on the Garren sector and many planets beond it. Now it was just a ruin of a world, the virus bombs and deadly plague torpedoes unleashed by the plague marines had increased the rotting of the planet by a million fold, combined with the deadly virises they had unleashed, Garren I had been turned to hell in seconds.

Human being would be apualed at sutch a act of destruction, but Darius was ot what he had sworn to defend. He was above many human feelings, but right now one was coming back, hate. He stormed towards hallway 6/21, hate coursed through his veins, around him the last few troops on the planet strode forward, they would take this menace down with them, they would send it back to the warp.

Rounding the corner, the marines were faced with a sight that draned the courge from their bones, for an instand the Emperor's finest were stunned, that was enough for the deamon. The giant slug bearly fit into the tunnle, it's stubstance kept on shifting, geting smaller or larger to fit it's surroundings. Pus ouzed from it's every pore and slime covered it's terrifying body. With unatrual speed the thing slitherd up the hallway, it reached the marines as they recovered from their stupor, however it was to late, the blood of a dozen marines was spattered on the bare concrete walls of the hall and their bodies consumed before the first shots slamed into it's body.

Darius's plasma pistol was orer heating, he'd only been firing a few seconds but the aincheint machine hadn't taken well to the proximity of the towering plague beast and it exploded in his hand the same moment as he rejestered the flashing warning runes. Plasma splashed over his left arm and he cursed himself fr being so thoughtless. Activating his com-link he called to the fleet.

'Darius to fleet, we need evac, I repeat we need evac. There's a deamon thing down here and we can hold it, evac rejest now, sending co-ordinates'

He punched a few runes on his wrist controller and sent out him position. Secinds later came the reply.

'Fleet to Darius, the deamon is corupting out teleport channles, we can not get you out, I'm sorry Darius, you have to kill that thing'

The marine on the other end sounded genuinly sorry, Darius knew he couldn't kill this thing, he just didn't want to say it, he replied,

'Roger that'

He swiched of his com link and griped his axe with his remaining hand, wincing as pain flaired up in the tattered remains of his left shoulder.

'Brothers' he roared, 'let us end this abomanation once and for all, CHANRGE!'

Hefting his axe he ran at the thing, screamin his chapter battle cry. Nausia swept over his as he neared it and he found himself wading through a swarm of plague flies that gathered around him and seemed to choke him in a tide of buzzing wings. His axe made contact with the thing, cuting a huge rent in it's side. But instead of making the beast roar in pain. It seamed amuse, the wound closed and before Darius's eyes reformed into a gaping maw. swallowing his axe and right arm.

Screaming in pure rage and pain Darius stumbled back activating his com'link, he could feel the plague spreading through him he gasped out his final words,

'Acta Prohibitus Exterminum...........'

-------------------------------

High abive in space his call was heard, the surviving ships of the assemble srusade fleet, rescently joined by those of the Angles of Lament moved into firing position, and re;eased Exterminatus on Garren I................

++++++++++++++++++

We hey, more soon

cheers

The Angels of Lament fleet held high orbit above Garren I, they had arrived that day, braking in to real space and heading straight for the stricken planet, sensors had shown a plague ridden hell, corpses rotting in the streets and fields, Uriel swore he could smell the pestilence even from space. They had radioed in to the ships that were already above the planet who had explained the situation planet side, *Plague marines! * thought Uriel in surprise *do these damn traitors know no bounds? CURSE THEM!!* he thought, *situation understood honourable brother* said Uriel over the comm.-net *Uriel out*.

Uriel heard the doors to the bridge slide open, *how goes it on the planet brother* came a familiar gravely tone from behind him, he turned to see Michael fresh from the Apothecaron, a whirr came from his freshly implanted bionic arm as he strode towards Uriel, *the situation is grave indeed my dear brother* replied Uriel, *the followers of the plague god walk freely in a infected hell that was once a great planet of the Imperium! and there now it talk of demons!*he said, Michael straightened up, *shall I prepare forces for immediate drop?*, *no brother* replied Uriel *we trying to make contact with forces on the planet first, we need information before we make rash actions*.

A blast of static made both marines turn, *we have a signal sir, but it

Allic's Stop System, Glorious Duty orbiting Ulexis.

"Chaplain Ifuta, ship's auspex indicates tranporter activity under Outpost 426." reported Specialist Wau.

"Thank you. Did you pinpoint it's transmission source?" asked Ifuta.

"No, Lord Chaplain. The transmission was too brief." answered Specialist Wau.

"Keep scanning."

"Yes, Master".

- - - - -

An hour later

"Another transport, Chaplain! I have the destination. 98% chance that it was the origin of the first transport, sir."

"Good. Provide the coordinates our transporter tech-chapel." Ifuta pressed a stud on the station altar. "Operation Quill ... Go!"

- - - - -

Abord the battlecruiser Lymphatic Revolt, five huge, armored, giants suddenly appeared. Thier bright yellow and orange livery was illuminated in the dark chamber by the burning gasses of two assault cannons. The servitor at the controll altar was rendered into patches of flesh and scrap metal no larger than it's withered hand.

A quick auspex scan and the five giants aproached the fall bulkhead. As one, they reached out an oversized fist and peeled the wall to the floor. A single shell fell the only occupant of the hallway.

The five stalked down the hallway toward the largest power-source scanned.

- - - - -

The engines of Glorious Duty and Shooting Star both lit in the same minute. Both ships turned in graceful arcs worthy of an aqua-ballet. Each purched atop a mile long pillar of nuclear fire, they quickly gained speed and purpose. Thier clear destination: the battlecruiser Lymphatic Revolt.

- - - - -

The dead lay strewn across the cooridore.

"Unholy abominations. I will have to reconcecrate this armor in the morn." grumbled Brother Koyama.

Sergeant Kaneda gestured for silence. He knew that he led a team of five space marines fitted in precious Terminator Armor. The entire chapter only owned ten such suits. A single loss would be a mighty blow to the chapter. Master of Sanctity, Ifuta was taking an awful risk. Kaneda did not intend to let him down.

- - - - -

Glorious Duty cut its engines. The mighty ship slowly rotated on its axis. Across its great length mighty erruptions could be seen.

Shooting Star continued toward the target gaining speed with every second. It crossed the course of Lymphatic Revolt, ahead and slightly above the battlecruiser's trajectory. Fire and coherient light lept from both ships.

Shooting Star took damage on three decks.

Lymphatic Revolt sustained all damage to one location. The whole looked small on the huge spear of metal that was the Revolt. But the primary sensor array and secondary bridge were no more.

Shooting Star continued past; a meteor thrown across heaven.

- - - - - -

Ten minutes later five drop pods slammed into Lymphatic Revolt. A whole army of yellow and orange figures lept out. Each team headed a different direction.

- - - - - -

Alarms were sounding all over the Revolt. Ombecki, the Ship's Master, was frantic. He stormed around the bridge gathering information and shouting orders. The Cult Terminis were called to perform the roll that the Tactical Dreadought Armor was designed for, repultion of boarding parties. Every Chaos Space Marine was ordered to back them up.

- - - - - -

The Oracles Terminators had reached a huge, adamantium, blast door.

Sergeant Kaneda mearly nodded.

Two of the giants peeled back the outer wall. Atmosphere rushed by as sirens roared and suddenly went quiet in the new vacuum. The five crawed outside the ship.

- - - - - -

Vet. Sgt. Onomichi had been cutting power, communication, and control lines as they proceeded along the length of the vessel. Now they were pinned down by two squads of Chaos Marines. The silent, ancient cannons provided ample cover, but also limited thier options.

Space rippled and shuddered as the Syphilitic Violation broke back into real space. The rift shuddered and then collapsed on itself, sealing shut as if it had never been. Around Lord Ectothrix capital ship floated the cold dark shapes of 7 other vessels. It seemed Lord Ectothrix had come prepared for the final assault on Garren Prime.

(( Alright, well since im sitting in Summer school doing nothing, making up for the course i failed, i figured i'd try and dabble out some fluff in preperation for the final assault. Im skipping alot of potential fluff that i could have done, but in these dire times...i think its ok to do some skipping. ))

Chaplain Castus sat stone cold and motionless in the Command Chair of the Battle Barge Hells Redemption ( Like that one image in the SM codex, of Calgar sitting on his throne..picture that pose, but with Castus in his place.), all around him the crew of the command deck was deadly silent as they went about their duities, moving with the rest of the Crusade Fleet Fenrir to the Garren System, where the final battle would be waged.

No one truely knows what truely went on in that unholy temple on Nazareth II in the Gwayn System, Castus had gone in alone in pursuit of Daemon Prince known only as Ashsword. Rumours had been widespread around the Imperium, that Ashsword was actually once one of the Guardians of Bifrost, greatest commanders, who had been tainted Chaos in one of their larger campaigns. But of course the Guardians denied this. All around that temple the Guardians of Bifrost held off wave after wave of Chaotic attacks, from a mixture of tainted 'Guard, and the feared Chaos Space Marines. Hushed whispers of surviving Guardsmen had said Castus dropped in through the Temples roof, surprising the great Daemon Prince, Others stated that the Chaplain had torn through hundreds of traitors in a furious rage when he spotted the Daemon Prince, in which had issued a challenge out to the Holy Warrior, before fleeing into the temple.

What is know is that the battle that had waged on within the temples walls was far too much for the building to handle, an explosion of some kind had happened, obliterating the temple itself, and most of the Chaos scum guarding it. All that remained when the dust cleared was the Chaplain Castus standing ontop of the Ashsword's mangled form in victory. None that remained of the Chaos forces even dared to try and take the Chaplain down, as they all stood in awe of the mans presence, which gave the Guardians the chance they needed to cut down the ramaining forces. Chaplain Castus's roar of victory filtered and echoed down across the area, his fellow brothers bringing it up with their own victory cries.

That was the last thing Castus had said. That was well over a week ago, since then the Guardians had conquored the rest of the Gwayn system's worlds, Cheif Librarian Kane had retrieved the Xenos artifact in which they had been sent there to retrieve, and sent it with Commander Therrell on the Destroyer Tsunami Wrath Which was well on its way to meet the Inquisitor Lord Xenthor and his fleet in the Nec System.

Castus's armour was still covered in the foul Daemon Prince's blood, which still seemed wet as if it had just happened, Held tightly in his left hand was the weapon Ashsword had used, a mighty War Scythe, said to have been taken from a Necron Lord in one of the many tainted campaigns Ashsword had been on. Its glowing rod, giving half the command deck an eriee green glow.

And so the deed had been done, their mission a complete sucess, Castus had gotten his holy revenge, the Xenos Artifact was sercured, and now they were on their way to finish off the foul taint of Chaos in the Garren system. All in all, the Guardians of Bifrost had only lost 20 Marines, and a small fraction of their Armoured division, So virtually still at full strength the Guardians would once again leave their mark in this final battle.

(( It kinda jumps all over the place, my facts arnt exactly played out as they should have been, but it'll do..i hope most of it makes sence. ))

Hi

@Bro, no it's not YOUR Darius.

Ok folks it's time to get writing, it's finle assult time.

WE are attacvking the enemies main base, it is buiuld into the side of a HUGE volcanoe(that makes everist look small) and it probably the best defended place in the garren system. There are trenches, 5 outer wall, sheilds, turrets, the works. And ity was build by an Iron Warriors. It is defended by hoards of fanaticle traitors and the dred legion of chaos marines, fanaticly loyal to kreil, also there are som eof the surviving death guard.

so lets boogie on down guys................

It has begun.........................................

ok, i think we should plan out the attack, thereby giving each writer an angle to write from, things like. who's infilltrating? who's having the honour of a frontal assualt, etc...

What do you guys think?

The Emperor Protects,

Brother Lucas

P.S; i just got the Flu, so i've been hibernating a fair bit... which doesn't effect the graphics coz i'm waiting to get access to my course's equipment again, but it has restricted fluff somewhat...

Hem, That I'll be sorting, now then:

Captain Xerian surrvayed the group of marine commanders beofre him. His bionic arm, concealed under his armour whined as he raised it, taping the keys on the consol slugishly me looked up at the assembled commanders.

'Gentlemen' he said, 'you may have noticed that I have sustanded an injury during my recent battle with the traitors, thanks to the work of Apothercary Joshain of the Salafian raiders, I am able to continue the Emperor's work' he inclined his head to the marine in the far corner.

There were a few nodds in the marines direction from the assembled men before the lights went out and the holo screen infront of them flikered into life.

'Garren II, volcanic world and main enemy base, home to there enemies leader, Lord Faustus and most likely Kreil'

As the captain said the name of the traitor Inquisitor the room was filled with curses on the heretics name. Xerian held up his hand for scilence and continued.

'Kreil will die, but it is our job tp bring down the enemy forces. The main polar fortress, theire HQ, will be one of the hardest battles in this crusade. It Is built into the highest volcanoe on the planet. It's huge, as well as being a great defencive possition natrualy, it has been fortified, by none other than Iron Warrior's Seigmaster, Konrad Trask. The fortress has five main outer walls, built in a zig-zag shape to create fire traps they will be hard enough to brech without the lava moat, trenches and mines know to surround the area', he paused, changing the picture on the holo-screen, .We will use out fleet to drive the enemy back to the fortress, then we will atttack. The current chapter represented here are, The Blades of Deliverance, The Angles of Lament, The Yel Vipers, The Expungers, The Guardians of Bifrost, The Warriors fo Vengance and My Own, The Emperors Crusaders. The oracles are fighting on the outer rim of the system and all other chapters are on their way, however it falls to us to win the day.

I have Tasked the Warriros of Vengance with infiltraitng the planet before us, they are to attack supplie dumps, bridges and other main supply routes, forcing the enemy to use a selected few routes, therefore making it easier for us to drive them back. The Angles of Lament and The Crusaders will lead the frontal assult, we will endevoure to capture the enemire first trench line before the rest of you arrive. The Yel Vipers and Expungers will drop on the right flank, the Guardians of Bifrost and he Blades of Deliverance will drop on the left, while the Warriors of Vengance will form our major renforcements. Once we have captured the First trench line we will convert it for our own use before while we being up out seige equipment. Then our main plan will begin, but for now it is not nescessary for me to tell you that, full logistical and tactical data is availible to all of you, you have five hours to prepair for the begining', he surrvayed the officers, sensing their egerness for battle, 'The Emperor be with you'

He sighed as the walked off, the Salafian Raiders wouldn;t take part and he was disturbed by his dreams, the dreams a Space Marine shouldn't have.........

Allic's Stop System, Glorious Duty orbiting Ulexis.

The Oracle Terminators carefully strode along the outside of the hull. Step by careful step they crept, trusting to the magnetic clamps of thier boots to keep them from flying off into space. An eternity of 5 minutes later they halted. As one, they punched thier powerfists through the hull and ripped back the hull. Loose papers, and tools flew out with the venting atmosphere. When the last of the gasses had escaped, they pulled themselves through the hole.

The Terminators pulled themselves through the rent to land heavily, but silently on the deck. The warp engine altars rose in large, ornate stacks. Behind the stacks was a huge curved wall. They placed meltabombs across the surface in a carefully measured pattern.

Five minutes later. Sgt. Kaneda sent a signal and the Terminators climbed jumped out the hole in the celing.

- - - - -

Tiny dots were flying off the Lymphatic Revolt, like water droplets from a shaking dog. The Lymphatic Revolt did not shutter or buckle. Rather a whole, blacker than space, open in the rear of the ship and the rear third of the ship ceased to exist.

Glorious Duty and Shooting Star errupted in fire. Eight seconds later the remains of Lymphatic Revolt disentigrated.

- - - - -

Sgt. Kaneda signaled. Shuttles began picking up the marines that had reciently assaulted the Chaos ship.

- - - - -

Twenty minutes later, Glorious Duty and Shooting Star jumped for the Garren system.

Uriel stood as still as stone on the bridge of his battle barge, it was as if some-one had placed a statue of him on the bridge in his place. He had just returned from a briefing with the other commanders, information had been gathered and swapped between them, they then met with Captain Xerian of The Emperors Crusaders, the head of Adeptus Astartes forces, Uriel could tell that the man had seen many battles, he had the eyes of a veteran, Uriel approved of him. He would lead the charge with this mans forces into a trap and trench strewn hell, Uriel hoped he could trust him

HI

I've made a mistake! , we are attacking Garren Prime, not Garren II, I was a bit tired when i wrote that peice of story!

+++++++++

On the ground all hell was breaking lose, the marines had landed in a storm of fire and blood. The Angles of Lament had arrived in time to led help in the first attack, that had pleased Xerian, theywere good warriors, devoute and well trained. His weapons were stained inhis enemies blood as he advanced, cuting through the peacmeal forces sent against them. But still the problem of breaking the enemy persisted. As ever it seamed so easy in the planning rooms, but here, with the shells whinning about him, a storm of small arms whiping past his ears, it was much harder. He hacked through more of the heathens, his ear peice cracled into life, it was Grandmaster Ureil, Xerian smile, he opened the channle,

'Don't worry Grandmaster' he said,'I have two!'

Xerian didn't waot for a reply, he sent the message to the Vindicators, directing them to the area Ureil had specified, already his men were moving, giving the tanks cover, he could see marines from other chapter still attacking the other parts of the line, he sent them his orders.

Then, the Vindicators fired, razor wire was sent high into the air, again and again they fired, untill the area was cleared, and the marines charged past them......

---------------------

In space, Ureil smiled, very soon he would be there, on the firey world below. He relished the prospect of smiting his foes.

cheers
