Hey everyone

I'm in the hobby for quite a while now (I started 2009) and really liked the moddeling aspect of it so i wanted to show you a WIP of my latest project
i know the pictures a littel bit to big, but it's my first time uploading so, please excuse me.

About the Project:
I want to do 5 Tzeentch-Termis, they are all WIP right now. i wanted them to interact with the environment (Base) so i chopped them up and reposed them. I wanted to use SM-Termis because the Scourged are rednegades and not part of a Traitor-Legion. With the first Terminator i also wanted to show, that tzeentch-marines can kick ass too, so i wanted him to look really mean

today i finished up the powerfist and added a Mark of Tzeentch on the Torso. I hope by the weekend the first Terminator is done and i can upload the progess.

Perhabes i'll upload a step by step tut. how i'm sculpting a Mark of Tzeentch

Hey, guys, a little update, i removed the mark of Tzeentch from the Torso, because i wasn't satisfied with it so i'll be re-doing it again 

 

the powerfist is finished, i clued a cable on, witch i'll prbably paint in hazard-stripe yellow and black and i glued the ripped out head in.

also as you can see, i sculpted on the base aswell. i want to portay kind of a city/urban environment in the rain (since i love raining days ) so i'll use some of valljo-still-water to creat puddels and but i'm not sure how i'll make the armor wet-looking i thoght of using some of the still-water and put a thin layer over the finished model, does anyone has some experiance with that?

 

and finally i made some pics of my scetches so you'll have an idea, what's about to come

Awesome work so far Royal Cactus! Very impressive.

 

Is the cabling on the chest true sculpting? Or do you have some fancy machine that produces such accurate work? Depending on your answer, I'm either in awe, or running out the door to buy a new toy!

haha, no, i have a "tube sculpting tool" it saves time and the cabels look quite nice.

I would post a lik, where i got it but i had it for a long time now, so i can't remeber where i got it from. Just goole"tube tool" i think there are some online hobbystors who sell it atleast, that's where i got mine from

 

I thought it was really interesting, when Forg World did theire primarch videos until they stopped at the Night Hunter. Because i wanted to know what they where thinking, when they sculpted and why they did the pose like they did etc. So perhabes you'll think the same way and are interested in my thoughts

 

so I wanted a renegade Chapter, not a big legion. To be honest i see waaaaay to much first founding chapters/Legions on the table, which is sad because there are so many other nice color-schemes and themes so i wanted bring more variaty (perhabes i can even inspire some one to do the same thing?  ) so that is why i'll paint them up as either Scourged, Oracles of Change or some color-scheme from the tzeentch demonkin, if or when it's finally here.

 

I wanted to have them with active or running poses with much movement because i'd like see them (chaos termis) as kind of really brutal and upfront. In the Eye of Terror are constand wars so i'll paint the models with battle demage and much dirt on them (I still need an idea for wet looking  armor btw).

 

I also want every Terminator to have an unique style but also look mean, realistc (i thought the power fist should look like it could actual work) and most important i still want them to look like a follower of Tzeentch with glyphes, candels, Dark-Seals, Human skin used as parchment, eyes, etc.

 

So for example the first one is my "mechanical-mess" 

or the icon Bearer will have a lot of parchment and Dark-seals

and the Champion will look like a potentila chaos lord with cape and a decent amount of bling (not as much as a Lord though) since you never know, Tzeentch could have some plans for him 

 

 

So yea i hope you liked a little bit what i wrote since i personally really enjoy talking to sculpters myself because i think it's helping me to become a better sculpter/converter and it'S just fun to know, what they wher thinking for me atleast . Or if you think it's boring please let me know aswell.

 

and a short off-topic: i know my english isn't he best, no hate, it's the third language i speak so please deal with it, thank you for reading

small update: MoT done, started on the Eyes, finished the Torso of the Second Termi and started of an Alt. model for the "reward of Chaos"

Hey, Everyone, today only a small update, last week was really busy for me with real-live-stuff, so i didn't had much time to sculpt and convert, but you know small steps corrupt, hope you like it. :)

 

I tried to sculpt runes for the first time, so here is my WIP

I also stared with the eyes, i tried it like 10 times, untill i cam up with something that i liked

and last but not least, i added some details.

 

oh, and a Landraider is on the way aswell :D

Hey everone

 

as you might have seen, I wasn't been able to post anything on my WIP-Thead an i wantet to share the reason behind it with you guys. To make it short, i'll move to another country and as you can imagine, it's a pain in the chocolate-star to get all the licenses, a flat, etc. so i didn't have any time for the hobby, so for at least 3 Months there will - sadly - no updates on my Thread, but i want to continue my projects as soon as I can, so please be a little patient with me. I'll still read coments on here and PMs but will not be able to post updates. And thanks a lot for the nice comments

Hey everyone so i live now in Japan and all my 40k stuff is in Germany. but in about 2 Werks my stuff will arrive here and i'll start sculpting again.

 

But back to the Topic. As you may have noticed the HH is getting bigger and more exciting, so i think about painting my Termis as SoH but my question is: where Indominus Terminators a thing in the Heresy? From what i read i don't think there is a Problem and they are beeing played like Tartaros Termis right? Or am i compleatly wrong now? ^^"

New pictures on the first Terminator i only have to sculpt rivets and the skirt than is the body done.

 

So i decided to paint them in the colors of the sons of the cyclops. And also I started a cheap Chaos Lord with Power axe and Sword (the basic Chaos Lord for poor people  )

One mistake i was doing all the time, when i started to sculpt was, I wanted to do everything at once for example: when i sculpt the Chaos stars I first sculpt the "I" and after it is hardend i sculpt the Triangel, so I think it is important to have patience and to work in single steps. I hope it helps^^'

Small update today:  sculpted some flames, on the armor and the flames for the candels aswell, i will place them on top of the armor :)

and I contiued with my "cheap-trick-Chaos-Lord" but to be honest i'm not so sure, where do i go with him base wise....^^'

The candels are stil WIP tomorrow i'll sculpt some tripping wax, and the last shot is a sice comaprison, on the pic. they seem a little big and odd. 

 

Wow you know it takes so much longer than i thoght to sculpt everything hahah oh jee

Like I promised here are new pics. so I did some extra details on T1, sculpeted some wax on T3 and i started to convert the head for T3 he will have 9 extra eyes, i saw it on some artwork, but I forgott, where i saw it.... that's right, i just stole the idea..... when you no one was looking I just took it, what'cha gonna do?

So soon the first Termi-Torso will be finished. I wanted to make the skirt look like he has seen some battles, which is why i made some holes in it and ruffed it up a little on the sides and the lower part.

 

on the 4th Termi I sulpted the spine, later i'll sculped cracked up Armor around it, like i did with the 2nd Termi so it lookes like it bursted through the armor, and also I'll sculpt some chains over it.
