Models with pistols are allowed to use them in the shooting phase if they're in combat and only on the model closest (1") away from them. So you could potentially be in round two after the initial charge and combat round, have a shooting phase with the Castellen on your cc target and then continue to beat it's face in.

This mostly, want to be able to Pew Pew reasonably well and then smack face in cc with still the option of firing said Pew pews in cc (plasma or grab might make a nice secondary here)

That's good to hear! Do you know where to get them? I got mine from my dad, but I'd like to know the producer/store, as many people have asked me where I got it. Never got that PM but.... I'll forgive you ;) Also the Xenos (you know what I mean) has them quite often, sometimes the action as well, but the Xenos has it 9/10 in stock.- 6144 replies

Some are unpainted others are reprimed grey for a pallet swap. Currently 60-65% of my collection is painted. Essentially every side project (custodes, tau, rowboat, deathwatch) are now all done so I'm cracking down on black and yellow. Starting a new job in April so I'm using up my spare holidays.

Have had that as well, battle will be done and dusted and a day or so later you're going "By the throne, I had re-rolls cause of X so Y could of done Z in faster" I always forget things like hatred, master crafted and the like.
