Power surge

Hi Folks,

The Power Generator I wanted to add in my 12MoH pladge is not fully painted.

After a plasticard job, I ended with this big square box to be painted. I initially though about copy/pasting a real world colour scheme for Diesel groups such as that one:

Choisissez un groupe électrogène puissant et fiable à Vire-Normandie

I have kept the inspiration of the dark colour for bottom reinforcements and shifted to red (as painting yellow ain't my stuff), but I gave up bicolour stuff on the main panels. Why? Just because I forgot mainly.

Yet, while the painting was done, this lack of bicoloured scheme let appeared a wide defect of my sheme: the side next to the plasma duct connector was too red and too uniform. Option was either to resume painting or add modification to the model. I choosed the last.

Indeed, the Diesel poxer gen ended up looking more like a comapct nuke reactor (thanks to proxied core modelled from AdMech vehicle bitz); The Diesel parts is now more aligned with the bienergy power mode à la Imperial Knights, that mix combustion and plasma/nuke.

And if you have to control a nuke engine, you need a control pannel worth it. As I had left this panel from a Land Raider... half of the job was done.

And here comes the result:

It is a rather OK model that will bring colour on my Ashland table.

As size matters, here are some comparison pics:

It is not that big but neither small. A perfect size for the purpose of LoS obscuring.

I guess this model is closing my 12 MoH plodding along. I may have enough bitz left for buildinga watch tower with spot lights but I am not sure I can complete it this year. So, I'd rather close the deal here. And keep the idea for a future project.

See you with the whole 2027 scenery project on a single familly portrait pic!
