that red dot is accidental but I am gonna say that its his fathers ring and he got it when his father betrayed the emperor by saying he is happy that his daughter was born a psyker (ofcourse he got it from the heretics corpse) :P

I did my yellow using model masters insignia yellow with an airbrush for the shadows i mixed it with snakebite leather from games workshop series and mixed it with a touch of white for the highlights after that washed the mini with gryphonne sepia and used black oil wash for the recesses of the armor (oil wash always on a varnished mini, it keeps the wash in the recesses and not on the open surface). Btw i wish to add a custom made chaplain in terminator armor in my vow (crozius+combiplasma)

Finished the defence line as pledged. I know its quick but i had to get it done cause on Sunday my fists will enter for the best painted army award in the tournament. Hopefully the Emperor will smile upon the VII Legion and allow me to bring further honor to Dorn and the Imperial Fists! on a side note: how do i add to my vow? I am thinking of converting a metal captain stern from the grey knights to a chaplain in terminator armor of the Fists. Oh link to the wip thread is on the first post ^_^

Devastators are complete!! Looks like i am on a hot streak with my vow all that is left is the defence line! (updated my wip thread link on the first post)

I, Moric , vow on the honour of my Chapter to paint and present at least 1 Devastator squad, 1 Terminator squad and an Aegis defence line on or before the 29th of December, 2012. I promise to provide at least two WIP updates, preferably with pictures, in that time. I vow to bring honour to Dorn and the Emperor by completing my vow and not failing my brothers-in-arms. Ave Imperator!

Very nice! I love the pose. Although i do have a rather silly question is the ancient greek helms and style suitable for an Imperial fists army?
