I've been out of the game since 5th. finally put together a ton of blood angels models and starting games next month. this list interests me and i want to know how it would play. i know the BA meta is sanguinary guard and hiding until turn 4 but i don't really want to do that when i have these models. Am i insane for taking corbulo, his chalice giving me assault doc every turn on a blob of 18 assault primaris with mephiston there to give a bubble shield/unlease rage to the most expensive squad. Seems like i can try to get into combat ASAP and follow up the punch with the dreadnought, chap on bike. Vets held in reserve to either wipe out whatever the oponent deepstrikes or gets into my back lane. heavy ints for sitting on rear objective. is my chapalin built well? i need to know if the exorcation of rage gives cumulative +1 to wound like the red thirst gives already. planning to overwhelm with early charges boosted by the characters and fight twice with the thunder hammer assault marines. deredao and sicarian near each other trying to prevent stikes/reserve within 9inch as they sit back and shoot. considering dropping mephiston for another unit of outriders or more assault marines. Battle Size [12CP]: 3. Strike Force (101-200 Total PL / 1001-2000 Points) + HQ + Brother Corbulo [6 PL, 115pts] Chief Librarian Mephiston(Primaris) [8 PL, 155pts]: 2. Unleash Rage, 3. A very rough (and probably not too competitive) 2k list I came up with last night for Terror Assault, but one that should provide for a fun enough first few games I play against mates, and provide welcome experience for how to outfit Terror Squads and Night Raptors for optimal points:performance ratio. Also decided to try and see building a list without Curze would fair - decided that pretty much the free gear and buffs he gives to the army alone make him ridiculously tempting in a Terror Assault list - here he'd be providing 75 points of free gear that I'd otherwise buy (so replacing the praetor with him would only cost 190 points) and also ensuring the pinning tests went off far more successfully... Mainly reliant on the two vehicles neutralising what armour they can during Night Fighting, with the Magna-melta there as an answer to any large terminator squads or similar 2W elite troops. Terror squads do what they do best, generally play havoc with enemy troops, aiming to get pinning off every time they shoot a unit (and backed up by the recon squad - the only scoring unit unfortunately) Raptors and Praetor come in on turn 2 or 3, with meltas for any armour that survives or to soften up harder units before charging and drowning them in rending, shred attacks (ideally with bloody murder bonus). Considering whether it'd be better to drop 5 of the raptors and a melta from the second squad and run another neutron sabre in order to get ensure whatever vehicle they're shooting at gets shock pulse'd. Further, whether I should trim 10 points elsewhere to give the recon's a nuncio-vox and make sure the raptor squads deep strike correctly. Thoughts? Again, not very competitive without scoring units but should be able to perform acceptably against the usual 2k lists of the HH box contents that will be emerging soon I think. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Faction: Night Lords Rite of War: Terror Assault Warlord Trait: Warmonger HQ - 185pts Legion Praetor - 185ptsBase 120pts MC Paragon Blade 40pts Jump pack 20pts Bloody Murder 5pts TROOPS - 1495pts Terror Squad - 275ptsBase 115pts 5 executioners 90pts 5 rotor cannons 25pts 5 chargers 10pts artificer armour 10pts chainblade 10pts night vision 15pts Terror Squad - 270ptsBase 115pts 5 executioners 90pts 5 rotor cannons 25pts 5 chargers 10pts artificer armour 10pts chainaxe 5pts night vision 15pts Night Raptors - 400ptsBase 185pts 5 night raptors 125pts 5 chainblades 50pts 2 meltaguns 30pts artificer armour 10pts Night Raptors - 400ptsBase 185pts 5 night raptors 125pts 5 chainblades 50pts 2 meltaguns 30pts artificer armour 10pts Legion Recon squad - 150ptsBase 85pts 5 nemesis bolters 50pts night vision 15pts FAST ATTACK - 140pts Sabre Strike Tank - 140ptsBase 80pts Neutron Blaster 20pts Multi Melta 25pts Night Vision 15pts HEAVY SUPPORT - 180pts Legion Predator - 180ptsBase 120pts Magna Melta 35pts Sponson Lascannons 10pts Night Vision 15pts TOTAL: 2000pts

Greetings fellow Loyalists, I'm just getting back into list building and hopefully playing soon. I've been out of the game (play-wise) since 5th edition, so I tried to gather everything, read/watched the c*ap out of battlereports and lists, read rules and codexes, but I'm not sure about if what I produced here is any good. I'm not looking to go WAAC nor 100% fluff, but a list that brings BT which are my alltimes favorites and Knights, as I also like the style, that will not get tabled turn two. Opinions + C&C are very, very welcome. BT Bat.detachment: HQ: Primaris Chaplain on Bike (MOS, Armour Indomitus, Fires of Devotion, Paragon of Fury to make him a resilient melee monster) The Emperors Champion (even though he's not the best, I won't go without) Troops: 5 men each Assault Intercessors (PF on Sgt) Assault Intercessors (PF on Sgt) Assault Intercessors (PF on Sgt) Assault Intercessors (PF on Sgt) Fast Attack: Outrider Squad Outrider Squad Heavy Support: Eradicator Squad Eradicator Squad Super Heavy Detachment: House: Hawkshroud (I expect heavy anti tank from the gaming group I joined and this will help to be efficient a bit longer) Knight Crusader Armiger Warglaive Armiger Warglaive Total 2k even Battle plan should be obvious: Crack some hard shells around the fluffy stuff and chop up afterwards. Cheers PS: I hope there are not too many typos, english is not my first language
