Do you have any nice photos of your own Marines with this type of heraldry? Also, I smell a nice opportunity to use one of the new SW shoulderpads if someone's doing a 2nd House marine... Shiodome Posted November 6, 2009 Share Posted November 6, 2009 well, rather than wait around i decided to start bits hunting in preparation. bitz hunting is definitely my favourite part of modelling... finding sprues i'd forgotten about and them sparking off new ideas "oh wow, maybe THIS might work with THIS!". Olive green with mustard yellow Iron Hand shoulder badge and details. Industrial or deck plate basing. I don't use metallic paint on the figures, only the bases. (Hour or two at most) Edit: Painter Scheme Actual Models Fluff Basics- Geneseed: Blood Angels A fairly standard Blood Angels chapter. They took heavy Casualties a number of times, which has resulted in a reduction of the deployement of scouts. Losses within the Chapters Specialists has also led to each brother undertaking specialist training early so that each squad can act more or less self sufficiently of the chapters other structures. A surplus of retrieved gear has led to a propensity for heavily equipped troops (Lots of Jump Packs and Specialty weapons) (I have a file somewhere with more but thats more or less the gist of it..)
