Getting Ready for Grotsmasha's Chaplain Conversion Challenge.,, Even if my last Model was already a chaplain, I'll do another one.

Step 1:

Getting the Bitsbox out of the dusty cellar.

STEP 2: Qualification

These Bits on the picture made it into the next round.I will add nothing, what is not on the current picture. But some of the Bits will have to go too, only the best are here to stay.

Challenge is about Kit-Bash. There are Dark Eldar, Imperial Army, Terminator, Blood Angels, Empire Flagellants, Black Templar and Random Space Marine and Grey Knight Bits. Still not sure about the final decision, but Chaplain will be Art Scale with Power Armor and most likely Jump Pack.

@Biohazard: Thanks for watching!

STEP 7:

Assembling some more parts like shoulderpads and arms and Chaplain got feet (Still need some greenwork) and most parts need overall cleanup, but that will happen before the minor details come in. Anyway, little update. Every day a little work.

I'm still thinking about the crozius. Probably a big "cross" one, or the mace-like eagle.. still don't know for sure.

STEP 8:

Minor Greenstuff work. Shoes finished. (some cleaning will happen after drying) Shoulderpads almost finished. Chaplain got a belt. Arms prepared (not on the picture yet)

Next on my list are Lower Legs and Knees -> Filling and some details and finishing shoudlerpads. More in tomorrows Update.

STEP 9:

Made another Shoulderpad instead of the skullpad. Filled lower legs. Prepared for some tries with little details like a laurel around the knee-skull. Have no expirience with that. Arms are ready - Weapon is not. But overall, its not far from finish. About 2 more steps to finish the chaplain.

Anyway, not much Comments these days in these forums..

Step 10:

My first attempts to sculpt things, other than filling and chains or cloaks.

Im pretty pleased with my first try. The Laurel will stay, the eagle is already gone again. A few tries more until I'm pleased I guess. Have still no practice in these tiny little ornament things.

Thinking about the Skullpad too, I'll try different shoudlers when the arms are mounted.'Will be the next step after Detailing legs and chest.

Thanks for the comments guys. Is helping to keep me motivated when I don''t feel lonely in this thread. :)

Hello B&C Guys. After 2 Years I'm back to the grim Age.  I did nothing for the hobby in the past 2 years so I have to relearn much and still had so much to learn anyway.

I woke up this morning and had an idea for a new built. So this is my plan. 5 True Scale Black Templars and a small Display Board with the bases included - so some kind of Diorama where I can take the Minatures out if I ever want to play again.

Pictures following next post, still busy drawing a sketch, cutting foam and burning Witches for this evening.
