The Captain and Apothecary look fantastic. I really like the marble haft on the Venemous Ones axe. Are there any more pics of your Night Lords kicking around? I love the assualt marine with the Punisher like skull on his faceplate.

It's all been said before but I am just going to have to say it agai:

That is a great looking army, easily one of the best I have seen. Fact.

Great unit cohesion and cohesion between units, and great to see a couple of old favourites in there, Flamer marine anybody?

Keep em coming man!

@Retrograde: Well, I'm not so sure about that :P , but thank you for the kind comment!

@zxyogi: Holy crap, you're still alive! Ha ha ha! Good to see you, Honour-Brother, and thank you for the comments!

@firestorm: Thanks! Sadly, I'm moving soon, and really have no time to head down to my LGS right now to use their gaming board. I promise that I will when I get to Alaska.

@Biohazard: Thanks, I'm glad the marble axe haft worked out. No mor Night Lords right now, but keep an eye out later.... (Side note: I grew up reading Punisher comics when I was a kid, thus the face plate, lol)

@hushrong: Thanks, bro! Lovin' your Astral Claws, by the way.

@Olis: Thank you!

@Brother Melice: Thanks, my friend! You get my PM, by the way?

@LamenterMarine: I could put them in a bag, if you'd like... Thanks for the comments brother!

@CMID: Thank you!

@NightHunter: Thank you man! Really loving that Super Heavy of yours!

@augustmanifesto: That's quite a compliment and an honour, your Imp. Fists look outstanding! Thank you, good sir!

Onward...the Predator I salvaged from the bits box...

Oh God, this dang Vindi...Grrr...I came dang close to taking a sledgehammer to it, the guy I got it from utterly ruined it. I've done the best I can getting her back together.

As always, comments and critisisms welcome!!!

You know I hate and love it when people use the same idea as me...

It will be awesome to see how you do these next ones! Really looking forward to the cyber mastiff and thudderfire gun :HQ:

(I had just picked one up from Ebay as well...)

@hushrong: Thanks, bro! Lovin' your Astral Claws, by the way.

Thanks but you're too kind. They are mostly very dull. If I buy some new plastics for them, I hope I can get them lookin as sweet as your Marines Malevolent!

Also, loving the use of the old-school goodies. The predator looks great and I like the side sponsons more than the standard ones which look very easily-breakable on the field. I am also digging your Techmarine, his iron pooch, and that Thunderfire cannon. You also worked a miracle on that vindicator...it looks like a lot of metal to deal with.

*I noticed your Techmarine is on a bigger base, is that legit? I want to put mine on a bigger base because of his servo harness but I am not sure if it allowed. I heard you can always move up in base sizes but never down.

Dunno about this. I would think it's only if the unit's base size changes such as in the case of Terminators. Canis Wolfborn or whatever even states you can't for him... but then it also specifies it based off of his ability.

Yes I've got your PM. This should be interesting Brother

On with the blog, loving what I see, the predator is going to be quite a model there... But I must say that the thudd gun is not as intimidating as the thunderfire cannon. I'm going to suggest converting it, maybe extending the barrels with plastic rod? something more Astartes and less IG.

Just something to think about.

I love that Techmarine. Is the cyber-mastiff supposed to represent the bolt pistol? Are those things attached to his backpack spare clips for the thudd gun? There's only one thing I don't like about the idea of using a thudd instead of the thunderfire - thunderfire cannon looks self-propelled while thudd gun looks like it would be towed to and around the battlefield and I cant imagine the Techmarine being able to move it by himself - unless thats cyber-mastiffs job (if so- poor boy ;) ).

Epic army brother! Its a great pleasure to see how far you've come since the early days when you began these guys. A definite top inspiration for me and all that I do with my KoB.

Edit: Totally forgot to add how much I love your Techmarine and the Thudd Gun. Where did you get the cyber-mastiff? What a great find and cant wait to see a superb paint job on both.

Ah, my Techmarine and his 'reclaimed' Demiurg (*Cough Cough*) Thudd Gun is becoming quite the contriversy, lol.Let me see if I can answer as many as I can...

First, the base was a comprimise between fluffiness, practicallity and legality on the field. Fluffy, because I thought a Cyber-Mastiff would look gnarly as hell, lol. Practically, because this fella was falling all over the place with a small base, no matter how I weighed it down. Legally, because of the top heavy issue, I figured it would be better to use one large base for both mini's instead of two. Plus, the Mastiff is kinda keeping him centered, with some extra weight directly below the puppy. Also, in all honesty, this fella will probably never see a tourney, only friendly games, so it shouldn't be too big an issue.

Second, Keyoz, thank you. I totally forgot to add a bolt pistol, thankfully I happen to still have a Sang. Guard bolter still laying around, that should look cool. The cyber-mastiff is pulling double duty, actually. When my Tech is using the Thudd, the cyber just looks cool...when my Tech is running by himself, the pup will be a counts-as power weapon. Yes, the extra clips on his back are for the Thudd. The Thudd actually is self-propelled...if you look at the rear pic of the Thudd, the thing the Servo skull is attached to is actually a tracked unit, lol. Fluff wise, the devious stunted abhumans I liberated the Thudd from had an AI unit built in it, which was replaced by a servo-unit which is controlled by the Tech. It's still a little touchy though, so the Tech still needs to drag it around at times.

Finally the size in comparison to an actual Thunderfire...I'm thinking that if you remove all the gizmos and gadgets off of it (sensors, autoloaders / ejectors, recoil dampeners, armour plates, bracers), it would look pretty similar to the Thudd. Kinda like comparing a WWI quickload Field Gun to a modern era M-198 Howitzer. The new one is fancier, and more killy, but the old one will still ruin you and your platoon's day if it had the chance, moreso if the gunner knows what he's doing (which surely the Tech does, lol.)

Hope this helps!

Probably doesn't, my thoughts are usually a train wreck... ;)

No problem, and thanks for answering my questions. Actually the mastiff counts as power weapon was the thirst thing I thoughts about seeing the model but then I remembered that thunderfire techmarine doesn't have a power weapon.

Oh your right it is self-porpelled. Well…Carry On Then!

Also:

Where did you get the cyber-mastiff?

Unless your asking where did 1000heathens get this one specific model and not more generally where can you find that cyber mastiff model that I think I can answer that.
