When you read Helsreach and pride fills your spirit as you know that Black Templar chaplains are total bad asses

When after reading chains of golgotha you promote Yarrick into Honorary Black Templar Commissar Yarrick for his ruthless awesomeness

[True story] I went to donate blood yesterday. I've done that for decades and never had any issues before. Yesterday, my body refused to bleed. I asked the nurse what was going on and she just said, "It's normal, your blood is doing what it's supposed to, it's just that you have lots of platelets which will let you heal quicker." So for 45 minutes they tried to get blood out of me using various tricks, but in the end it would not yield any so they let me go.

As I pondered what had changed, it occurred to me. I adopted the Templars as my chapter a year ago. In that time I have changed. Now I no longer bleed, others do.

Templars. Is it "in" you?

Brother Honda, you got your Larraman's Organ implanted without telling us? :ohmy.:

EDIT: According to P.10 of the codex, the more fitting organ would be the "Haemastamen" or sumthin like that, but it's introduced at the same time as the above, so meh? :tongue.:

Maybe you're lucky with your blood donation nurses, imagine them suddenly yelling: "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!" whilst hacking at your arm with a scalpel or something. :wacko.:

I guess I could add to this again.

You know...

...when your new bride's dress is white...and black. (I've sworn not to post a pic  )

...when the judge doing the officiating includes a reference from the Crusades...without being asked to.

...when in addition to rings, your commitment is bound with Crusader Seals. (proof below)

You realize that the only reason the BTs were left out of “Phalanx” even though it seemed every other Dorn born Chapter was present was because they wanted the book to be more than 2 chapters.

Chapter 1: BT shows up to the trial

Chapter 2: BTs kill every one for even entertaining the idea of offering mutants a Tribunal.

Post Fluff: BTs have reclamed the Phalanx as Dorn's chosen

... you read this thread and see so many people raving about Helsreach that you pick it up and read it in one day. You then decide that they were right, and I better check my models for the little wings so I can shave them off to avoid being mistaken for a lesser chapter.

You know you're a Black Templar when...

Your friends wont invite you to any more magic shows after what happened.

You don't care that it was a childrens' show, they should all know better anyway.

I'm using this as my signature block forever.

Thanx a bunch. I laughed so hard I ripped my Black Carapace.

When you are so devoted to your work your zeal overcomes all obstacles and your sense of duty keeps you down to earth.

When your honour is so out of question no dares to challenge it.

When you are so badass you are the last opponent an enemy wants to face on the field of battle.

Instantly put me in a good mood. Thank you for that.

- When you put a lone Steel Legion Kasrkin in your Crusade and even though you you don't put him on any games you know he's Andrej.

- When you feel proud to see both Celestial Lions and Black Templars side by side, and know that the very reason of their Chapter's survival is because of you...

- When your Stubborness means that even with a broken arm, an aching head, a fractured foot, and a dislocated wrist you'll still go to your local GW to get molre Black Paint... and go by yourself aswell...

- When you frown upon Gandalf, Saruman and Radagast and decide to burn a quarter of your Middle Earth miniature range due to suspicion of witchcraft.

You know you're a Black Templar when... You read that Templars are being wrapped into Codex: Space Marines and your heart drops like you're going through a bad break up.

.... when soon afterwards you pick your heart back up and go back to the gory business of slaying the enemies of the Emperor, because only in death does duty end.

I am doing this...and I will play him. This is too awesome an idea to let go.

YKYBTW: Editions and codices come and go, yet the Crusade in your soul is Eternal.

This.

That one statement alone defines us more than anything else.

When the entire world is crashing down on you, putting you down and kicking you in the dirt. When everyone assails you on all sides and the walls of your life come crashing down,

and yet aidst all this you stand on the table/chair/podium/high ground, raise your imaginary Paddleum/Crozius Arcanum/Black Sword up to the sky, that even though your Codex gets rolled, some of your models become obsolete and your wallet sees impending doom... you ROAR in a loud voice, Roar mind you, not cry, not shriek, not yeller, but ROOOAAAR like the a true Astartes... you ROAR: "UPON THIS LAND WHERE I STAND. I HAVE DUG MY GRAVE HERE! AND I WILL TRIUMPH, OR I WILL DIE!!!"

NO PITY! NO REMORSE! NO FEAR!
