after being gone almost a year thanks to my kids I'm glad to come back and be inspired by your thread. between you, Augs and Hienrich it'll take me weeks to figure out what I want to do to get back into the hobby. Thanks for the inspiration as always and looking forward to see your raptor lord painted!

Great bases, bio. That yellow on the dead lamenter looks great. Perhaps weather him a tad more in the colours of the base? He seems like he had a rough day and I don't see any reason why his armour is still relatively pristine.. ;)

Bloodcrushers too look ace.

@HellChyld: Well, Biohazard is doing something red, my current project is yellow, while Heinrich is still going strong on blue. Seems like you´re stuck with green, buddy. Or purple. Or white. Or black. Or Brown perhaps?

Thanks guys, real life's been pretty busy but I have been working on things when I can. I'm confident I can complete most of my vow before the 15th but I'll definitely fail as my Knights are still WIP and really don't want to rush the building/painting of those guys.

Forgot to put a pic of the actual chapter badge when I posted the last update of Skarbrands base so here it is. Thanks to the Hydra for reminding me.

Not part of my vow but I also painted a Herald on Jugger using the herald from the Skull Cannon box.

With the rest of the Bloodcrushers.

Last night I started painting the Lords mount and reworked his armour a little. He's closer to paint now. Need to add his reins and finish painting the Jugger.

As always folks, let me know what you think. :)

DSsgt. Cheers buddy :)

Ok so I failed my Call of Chaos vow in a rather spectacular way. Not too worried though as I probably painted more in the last few months than I have the last couple of years....so....there's that. :)

Not a paint update this time but a little peek at a model I've just built for a guy at my club. He'd asked for a Chaos Lord with Jump pack so here's what he's getting. I used the head from my Jugger Lord as I have another Enkomi model coming and I want to try something a little different so didn't mind this one being used here.

I started with the base DV Champ model, replaced the torso with one from the Raptor box then added a few little bits and pieces all over just to give it a little more character. I still have to glue a little sand to hide the join on his base a little bit he's basically done. Paint will be done by his new owner and I'm looking forward to seeing what he does with it.

Let me know what you think folks.

I'll have something to show for my own army by next week. I hope. :/

First of all, it's awesome to see an update from you, buddy!

The jump pack lord is looking fantastic -- a brilliant commander for any CSM force! What's more, I don't know whether this was intended or not, but the model is a pretty close representation of the guy on the cover of Codex Khorne Daemonkin now, except for the jump pack.

The guy at your club also lucked out on getting the fantastic Enkomi-head conversion that way -- personally speaking, I wouldn't have given that away  On a related note, how many iterations of your jugger lord have you built now? That guy is turning into quite a project, isn't he?

Anyway, I can't wait to see what you'll do next, as always! :smile.:

Thanks guys,

Hellchyld, I'll be sure to be on the receiving end of this guy once he's painted so I'll definitely get some painted pics.

Kraut, the Juggerlord has been rebuilt too many times. :) Like I say I have another Enkomi on its way to me so I'll be finishing my Lord soon. ;)

Well him and his Goredrinker buddy.

I plan to lay out my entire army soon so I can see everything I have painted and plan which units to paint next. At the moment all my stuff has to be packed away to avoid the child daemon getting to it. As such I'm losing count of what I actually have so I'll be trying to organise a plan of action to get these guys up to scratch. Then I can work on my Orks......that's a story for another time and another forum though :D

Thanks guys.

Here's a little WIP of a couple of Spawn I've been planning for my Daemonkin army. I wanted to have spawn that looked a little more like I imagined the Blood Beasts from the Liber Khorne. These are still early WIP, I still have some scavenged armour and possibly some chains to add to them but thought I'd show them here.

This guy will be reworked a little. I plan to fix his pose and may swap the dead marine for a guardsman.

And this is the head for the 3rd spawn, I've yet to build his body.

I got the skulls a while back from Blood and skulls ind. and been planning these for a while. Was really happy how the heads came together using them.

Thanks guys.
