Thanks for the wishes buddy. My little snotling has definitely settled in well. She loves the space we have :tu:

Onto Malek, I've been looking at the Bloodwarriors I have kicking about for replacement hip plates. I was going to add them but I felt the waist looked a little barren without them. They tie the legs to the torso a lot better as well. I'll definitely check out the wrathmpngers though.

For the claw the angle of the pic certainly makes it a lot more clunky than it really is but I have been looking at switching it out. I plan to reposition the finger/blades a bit more as well. I've done a little more work on him as times allowed mostly just gap filling but unfortunately at work just now so no pics.

I did receive another Land Raider kit today though so I'll be building that soon as well and using Subtle Discords kit on it as a personal transport for Deimos.

Oh and Angron will be along soon, both versions. ;)

Ok so not an update on anything I actually promised. :-/ I do have an update on a few other bits and pieces.

I have a tournament coming up on Saturday at a club called D.W.A.R.F which is fairly local to me. It's an 1850pt charity tournament and has always raised a good amount of money for really good causes. I've been wanting to enter for a couple of years now but due to work or other commitments haven't managed.

This year I did though. Only problem is due to the upheaval of the house move and then the dropping of Traitors Hate and my really poor time management my army is only 'almost' ready. I have a few bits and pieces to finish up mostly just weapon swaps and new bases. I plan on having the newer Daemon Prince painted as well just in case I get lucky with the Boon rolls.

Here's a couple of WIP, just to show that I am still giving my WE some love. This time in the form of some armoured support. Both these Predators were bought second hand, my favourite is the Baal mostly as two of my regular opponents are Blood Angels player. :D

I still have to add the brass etch to the sponson covers on the Baal but these are as ready as I'll manage before Saturday. It's onto paint for both of them now

I've also worked on Warpsmith Zephon as well as I'll need him for the Fist of Gods formations. I like how he's coming along with the Anvil backpack but I'll need to look at either changing or bulking up his legs a bit more. I have some devastator legs I'll look at using. Grizzly also suggested I look at changing the emblem on the torso so I'll explore that option as well. His legs are my main concern at the moment though. I just realised in a couple of these pics he has the Blood Warrior head, I'll probably actually be sticking with either the Legion of the Damned head or I have a Terror Squad head as well I've been toying with.

I also have a bike Lord to paint, he's been built for a while but have only used him in a few games. Decided I'll try out the Axe of Blind fury/Power Fist combo.

Not the greatest of pics but I'll post more once I get home. (Nightshift this week and it's been a proper slog)

And finally another Terminator Champion/Lord depending on the size of games

If I've rambled I do apologise, like I say I'm nightshift this week until Friday morning. :(

That Warpsmith is awesome and I really like the Bloodletter head on the Predator turret, It looks like it should be there :tu:. With regards to bulking out the legs, If you added a cloak to sit behind them then I think that would stop them looking thin. I don't think you need to change them anyway, he is great :D

Cheers guys.

Nemac I've tried a few bits there but the Letter head fit the best. I'll either drill the eyes out a little to make it look like a skull or it'll be painted brass as mere decoration. I'll have another look at the legs tomorrow. Will take the cloak idea into consideration as well. :tu:

DSS7 cheers buddy. I've been looking at it for a while but was a little worried about the scale of the Anvil bits but decided to just buy it and see. Quite happy with how it looks.

Lovely work on the Warpsmith, buddy! The version in the first picture (with the LoD head and double-headed axe) is already damn near perfect, and I agree with Nemac Vradon that some kind of tabard or cape (made from chains) would sort out the business of the legs while also beautifully fitting the whole "Master of the Forge" angle. Brilliant stuff! :)

Thanks a lot guys. No cloak of chains yet although this happened.

So I managed to work on Zephon a little more. I was pondering what to do with his lower half when I spotted a half built Cassius from Overkill. 10mins later and Warpsmith Zephon is reborn!

Obviously still needs tidying up but I am much happier with him now. He's massive in stature which is exactly how I wanted him to look.

Oh yeah, those legs work brilliantly, buddy! Very nice! That aquila on the kneepad needs to go, of course ;)

Really not a fan of the helmet, though, as it's just way too cartoonish, if you ask me -- the tacked-on optics are a great idea, but the skull face itself is one of the less impressive ones from that particular kit.

wOw ! This is madness ... This all thread is madness !

Kitbashing legendary level ! :ohmy.:

Could not list all the model that I love in all those 67 pages because I think we are on the 99.99% ..

It's very inspirational ... But so far from my reach :sad.: !

Your Warpsmith is a right :cuss !! I really like him, especially his axe and the new legs look great :tu:

Also, liking the SD trim in the Preds, I like how you have only used a little of it too.

Thanks guys,

Kraut, I knew you'd mention the helmet :D lol! Hopefully this version is more to your liking?

Malchy, that's some high praise indeed and thank you very much. Although as to the last comment, I've seen your work and it is phenomenal so don't put yourself down. :tu:

Midnight, cheers buddy, I like the SD trim, this is from the Rhino kit I believe, I really just wanted something to break up the Red a bit and I think these will work nicely. It looks decent enough on my Rhino anyway. :tu:

He's looking amazing now, buddy! My initial reaction was that I preferred the LoD skull helmet, but upon closer examination, there is something really chillingly sinister about that NL helmet when used in that particular configuration, plus it also goes really well with the extra optics! And those chains dangling from the backpack? Every self-respecting Warpsmith should have 'em ;)

If I can make one final suggestion, I think you could actually shorten the haft of the axe a bit, because it looks like it would be a chore to wield, even in a two-handed grip.

But seriously, buddy -- what a fantastic Warsmith model! Thumbs up! :)

Thanks a lot guys, I've started painting him but I unfortunately didn't get everything painted before the tournament on Sat last. Mostly due to me spending all night basecoating the Termi's, Predators and Warpsmith on the Thu night before and then deciding at around half past 10 on the Friday night to completely change my list. :/

I managed to get everything basecoated at least, I also started to rebase my bersekers. The guys that were already on finished bases I cut the lip off the original base and will disguise the join with some more sand etc when I come to painting their bases.

I had a lot of my models out so decided to get a little group shot. This is actually far from everything I have but it is most of what I have painted.

Most of my power/Terminator armour

Like I say I still have a few more squads but they're mostly just undercoated for now.

Here's some of my painted Daemons, again I have another 3/4 squads of Bloodletters painted but they're not all based yet. I've decided to stick to the 25mm bases on my Letters due to the fact I have so many.

During the tournament on sat I had the chance to play against an awesome Slaanesh Chaos Marine army built by a guy named Eliot which has given me loads of ideas for both this army and obviously my Slaaneshi Warband. Here's just a couple pics I got of his Force (which actually won best army on the day)

I love this shot of my summoned Bloodthirster facing off against an Obliterator,Maulerfiend and Defiler. Was a great combat.

Looking at his army made me realise how dated some of my Zerkers were looking so I've decided to build some more. Using the same basic ideas as my older guys but will hopefully bring them up to date a little with some of my newer builds. More on that soon.

Thanks for looking

That's a super-impressive group shot of your army, buddy! Fantastic stuff! :)

And thanks for sharing the Slaneeshi army as well, which, I'll grudgingly admit, is also very inspirational: Using that Arx deathhelm minus bunny ears on a Noise Marine has got to be the ultimate heresy ;)

Looking forward to your next update!

Cheers buddy, the Slaaneshi models are great. Like I say he's inspired me to look at building another 2 squads of Zerkers. I'll be getting into them asap as the rumour sections of the net have me very excited for December.

A small paint update tonight, ive been grabbing what little time I can to paint this week and I've nearly finished painting my AoBF bike Lord, just some minor tidying here and there. I'll be adding the legion badge to banner a la Teethgrinder style so a simpler badge than the pre heresy.

I still need up somewhere into take better pics.

Here he is with his Combat Familiar.

Like I say I need to tidy up a few bits and pieces, and add a few more trophies. I'm thinking a couple of Astartes helmets kicking about here and there. Then I have another 7 bikes to paint. I'll more than likely production line them.

Managed to grab an hour tonight to throw some bits together. These guys are really rough but thought you people would like to see my plan for another 2 units of berserkers. Once these guys are built I plan to build a bodyguard (meat shield) for Khârn as well in a similar style to the new Khârn model. They won't have any special rules etc but I'd like to see about adding some of the more classic elements to the army as well.

Like I say these guys are quite rough and the one on the far left has actually spun a little on the pin holding him to the base so he's sitting at a different angle to I have planned

I'm also really exited about a certain release that's coming our way in a couple of weeks.
