Ooh, you mean mean man Heathens. I had considered put forward a Celebrant as well but discarded it in favour of an Iron Champion/Yellow Jacket due to them having less red so they'd stand out from the Corsairs better. Guess it's a good thing I did...

Why not Marines Errant.  Good contrasting colour scheme and didn't the Red Corsairs raid there geneseed, maybe they took a few brothers with them, or maybe he helped as an insider already... I also second the idea of Celebrant, or original yellow and red minotaur scheme.

Marines Errant...I like that. It's probabaly how the Red Corsairs got past the Void Sheilds.

So far just the basecoat. I hope I got the blue right. I had to mix up my own. I didn't want to buy paints for one marine. I still have alot to do

Im not sure how to fix it. It doesn't look like ultramarine to me.

Maybe a wash or two of a dark blue, to bring it down a few notches?

That is a very pretty blue.... And washes would probably "fix" it. But bluuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuue

I gave it a water down wash of guilliman blue glaze. Still dint like it then gave up. 

 

Sorry  1000heathens, I didn't get your post in time kinda got busy at work. That looked like a great idea but I ended up doing some freehand. Now it's kinda too late to change it.

 

Let me know what you think. It needs another coat of white

Thanks guys, it really turned out well. I pretty happy with it. It will prolly take me a while to get the balls to paint "X"s over it. Including that pretty aquilla!
