Your poses are awesome. Fantastic looking army

Thanks very much! Very proud of this force.

The shields are a great touch: a great size to convey defense while not being unwieldy thumbsup.gif

Cheers! I am very happy with those poses.

The tape measure is the awesomest!msn-wink.gif

Loving your brethren... And sigi of course- have mine on the painting block. Look forward to seeing your leviathan painted up as well!

Thanks! Sigismund is a great model, and you'll have lots of fun painting that. Also helps that he is a beast on the tabletop.

This is amazing work! Very impressed. I also want to thank you, looking through your pictures and seeing how you repurpose bits and bobs, and your heraldic shields has given me the answer to a problem I've been having with my current project.

I am doing an Imperial Fists successor chapter that uses a silver fist as part of their icon. I'm not very good at free hand and to make matters worse I like mixing Sternguard bits throughout my Tactical Marines so a lot of the shoulders don't have room for the chapter icon. However looking at your work I suddenly realized that I have a bunch of round plastic and resin Imperial Fists icons from some China forge land speeders and drop pods I was bequeathed by a chap at the local store. They won't be the traditional knight shield used for the heraldic shields, but they should still work!

So thank you for putting together this inspirational thread!

Templars look awesome!

Really like the colours and weathering - the tape measure is a great extra touch too tongue.png Very well done models indeed! thumbsup.gif

I like to measure accurately, for the Emperor.

Cheers! Now I'm just awaiting the FW dice to complement my loyalist tape measure.

Well, I made a start on the Leviathan, not too much to show as I am still going through the yellows. I really need to get him finished this weekend though. I do have some helmets on the ground, which I think I'll paint metal for Iron Warriors to get some extra credit for the Imperial Fists expansion IV.

I have also made up some Phalanx Warders, so I'll try and take a pic of them as well this weekend. I do think though, that once the Leviathan is done, I'll move onto my new Heresy project.

Thanks for looking.

Cheers!

After half a decade on a project, it's probably a good idea to shake it up a bit. :) I hope you still come back to the Fists now and again, though. Looking forward to what else you have in store. :tu:

Leviathan's coming along nicely. The black arm's a nice touch, too. Eager to see how he turns out. :)

Thanks very much. It has been a long slog with the Fists. I have pretty much painted everything up for them bar a couple of units, so I will dally with them again. I am however looking forward to painting something other than yellow. That and the play style of this Legion will be completely different. No tanks!

Looking good mate, keen to see your next project too

Cheers! Will post up the last of my Fists soon, then I'll start the new one. Am very excited about it.

Any hint as to what this new Legion will be? msn-wink.gif

They are a traitor Legion and not yellow! I am still awaiting some bits to arrive, but I have enough to work on a few squads now.

And of course he is the finished leviathan. I'm not happy with the weathering on the black, so any pointers there would be most appreciated.

As previously stated, that will be it for a while for the Fists. Need a break. Now its onto another Legion.

The last thing I have to show is my Phalanx Warders. Needless to say I won t be painting these for a while.

The Sgt is the Forge World Limited Edition Centurion. I cut up a spare cape to put on his back, and put my spare power fist of there. I think he looks suitably solid.

I used the last of my bolters for this squad. I also threw in some melta as in ZM that comes in handy.

The squad together.

Again, thanks for looking. Any comments are most appreciated. Look out for my other project coming in the next few weeks!

Cheers!

Those Wardens look steadfast! Love the second row with their axes drawn ready to go, and the Leviathan looks mint.

I find black lends instead better to weathering on the edges rather then patches in the middle of panels, but your Levis black arm doesn't look bad at all.

Do you game anywhere in particular? I would love to play your Fists sometime!

Cheers! Thanks very much. You might be right about that black. Still, I'll leave it as is for now, as I am keen to move on.

As for gaming, I mainly go to mates places. Where abouts are you based? I am south of the river (Rockinghamish) area.

I live over near Kalamunda but most Tuesday nights I head down to South Perth where a gaming group gets together, look up Outpost 6030 if you are interested
