greatcrusade08 Posted February 14, 2012 Author Share Posted February 14, 2012 sadly i dont i dont run storms with heavy flamers, i run the tri-melta for when i come across mech armies. my t-fires did win the game for me though, especially when he deepstrikes 20 cons for rapid firing :P its still nasty, was one hell of a close game, his ctan run through two units before i stopped him (snipers were shot to death by affore mentioned DSing unit). infact that game showed me a final area of my list that needs changing, expect a new improved list in june :P Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But unfortunately the date is shortly after our vacation and the flights from germany to UK aren't cheap at the moment (haven't been to London for quite some time). The Heavy flamer and Multi melta are two of the best Imperial weapons, so I can see making the choice would be hard :P If we see a transition from Mech saturation to more of a Hybrid, then I guess you can change it up a little. It depends if GW make whatever upcoming Marine Dex plausible to the internet without flooding the table with Rhino chassis or if the Xenos can field viable sv4+ infantry. I don't have nearly enough for 500 pts much less more and the few I do have mostly aren't painted or belong to the same army! :) I only ask as I haven't played a game in over 15 years and would love to watch a game being played and to meet some of you. I should be able to turn up on the Saturday (all being well) your welcome to turn up.. its ok to have proxies, unpainted minis or no minis at all.. as mentioned im bringing an ultramarines army and 4000 points of chaos, i dont mind lending for a game or two :) even if you only want to watch, the ultra-meet is more about socialising than any kind of 'event'.. lunch in bugmans is usually a highlight :( I see dark sky's ahead, a storm is coming..... are you bringing imotekh by any chance :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

greatcrusade08 Posted February 28, 2012 Author Share Posted February 28, 2012 ill have army for people to use as im gonna have my guard and blood angels with me for it shall be good i enjoyed very much the one i went to before IIRc you came along to one of our cambridge meets sadly they closed thier games room down, but GWHQ makes for a much better backdrop and we can normally get more people down to play. should be fun this year. myself and Ctan have our annual necrons vs scouts match (or as he puts it dirty dirty scouts).. i dont want to brag but it stands 3-0 to me :huh: althought his year he has an update so i admit to being a little apprehensive. im also looking at maybe a big 3vs 3 game ultras vs chaos if anyones interested?
