It's a shame you couldn't affix some motorized bits in it, to radio control the eye.

Don't tell your opponent, though. Just turn the eye at the perfect time to break you foes' will.

Hell, I'd probably run out the door screaming, lol.

Awesome job, man. Keep it up!

I figure if I quietly turn her when no one is looking, then look like I have no idea:whistling: ... you know, like the Silent Angels on "Doctor Who". I plan on encorporating more eyes into the army now... thanks to this turning out so well. And the reaction.:biggrin.:

Oh, but it would be such a pants-crapping moment if you were both looking at each other from across the table, your hands unseen (with remote in hand) and suddenly the eye goes "bzz" and locks on, and makes the other guy scream like an 8 year old girl and wet himself.

He'd be ruined at that gamestore for life. Seriously.

Especially since you'd have a camera in your other hand. ;)

Because, I am ABSOLUTELY INCAPABLE of working on one project at a time.... I dusted off this young lady and made her all pretty for the next time we get to game.

And the finished bit, all glossy, wet and gooey....

How would you like THAT staring at you from across the gaming table?:blink.: And yes, I will turn her to keep eye contact as much as possible with who ever I play...even after he kills her. :cool.:

Cheers Ya'll!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

This is disturbingly, awesomely, brilliantly thought out.

Reminds me of a thing from a film, pretty sure small soldiers has something like that?

The sculpting on Ms Charlotte's left side is now done. Now to fabricate the wings. The part I've been putting off.

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-qsklUoanlFw/Ul7wUcvZGYI/AAAAAAAABcY/RMMsX-Vjv74/s1600/CharLeftside.jpg

Also started some winged jump packs for my Khorny Raptor Squad

Still some detailing and fiddly work to be done on them, but that's the basic shape and look. Much better than the ones on the Possessed sprue... though I may do a second squad with them, since I have 6 of them as well. I'm working on a Khorny champion/lord... there are some more WIP pics at my hobby blog. More to come.

The first member of the Serpents of DOOooom to show his face. Meet Master Blaster Blastmaster. He runs Bartertown. And looks FAaaaabulous doing it. ;)

Also working on some Nurgly deamons for allies... Still very much in progress

Trying out some of the Agrellan Earth Technical medium on my cultist/penal troop bases. Not bad. This is how it looks unwashed or drybrushed. I went to the craft store and picked up some crackling medium, I'm adding a bit more to the pot and may try it with some other paint as well. It has potential for some neat effects with chaos stuff. ;)

Well, if you want bigger, this cost me @ $2....

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-re9YTEgLIUY/UpLx1sfKoUI/AAAAAAAABgY/gN-VmgiiDXg/s400/crackle.jpg

Just mix it with whatever color you want.... :)

Here are some more In-Progress shots of my 20 cultists/Penal Troops. Most of them just need detailing at this point. Stippling on the weapons, etc. I still have to paint the fleshy parts, but once that's done, its bases and DONE!

The guys on the bottom of this picture however, are kind of important to me. Well.... their shoulder plates are, that is. The color scheme for the Templars of DOOooom and the entire army has pretty much just been defined and simplified in an easy, painterly format. I'm very happy with the way the rusty brown and the dark greens play together.  The rest of these guys have their basic washes, colors and just need some detailing... in all of their drab Nurgly cultist glory.

These guys should be done in the next post. Then its on to the 40+ Chaos Marines.

My cultists/ sometimes Penal Troops are done. Led by former trailer park handi-man Bumpo Sludge, the Brotherhood of the Rusty Blade is all painted and ready to die horribly the next time I get to play... whenever that may be.

.... with "Big Carl" on the Heavy Stubber.

In the hopes of getting my 40 odd marines to ,at least, a decent 'tabletop' level of painting, I've cut my rust process down to stippling 3 colors over a dark brown-black base.

And here's the first 10 man squad with their rusty parts done. Next, on to the green parts.... then some details.

Finishing up the squad. The Champion is done. Started with a mix of Gretchin Green and Castellan Green and went continually lighter, then washed it with good ol' Althonian Camoshade. Deepened recesses with an old custom Dark Olive mix of inks. Now to finish the rest.

Still loving your work squire!

Any work on the Sentinels?

They are the next thing I want to finish painting, so you may see some in progress pictures soon. Also need to get Ms Charlotte's Wings built so i can paint her. With the holidays over I finally have more hobby time.
