I was a huge fan of the classic Apocalypse games, so this very much me tbh. It was notable how things sped up during the game too as having less models aside, being already familiar with the system enabled us to pick things up and retain the information easier.

 

I'm sure there was mistakes and we'll improve on that at least.

Oh yeah mistakes are part of the game.  In the crucible of war, many things don't go the way they're supposed to :P

Dreadnought WIPs

 

Fancied an easier month, so will be focusing on moving my Librarian Dreadnought from battle ready to finished and whilst I'm at it, I might as well do the other two as I've made them interchangeable.

Cheers and it makes sense to me that the sarcophagus that the Dreadnought chassis are all the same, it's just the sarcophagii and weapons that change around. As for the latter, we'll see what next year brings...

Captain, TDA Ancient, Sanguinor, Objectives WIPs

 

Just some simple ones for this month.

1. =][=REDACTED =][=
2. Painted like all the other grails, but on a marble base to match my TDA Librarian from the set. 
3. Golden armour like my TDA Captains, brass and metal throne I guess.
4. Just needs sword transitions, text, and the base bringing up to my current levels.
5. Will add a couple of bits of bling, but otherwise will be gold like my other Captains are. Don't have one of these finished yet...
6. Magnetising the weapons and banner so it can be run as a regular Assault Terminator if need be

The Sanguinor

Space Hulk Artefact

 

Pretty done as stated above.

 

The Sanguinor has the blue transitions on the sword and jump pack exhausts, highlights and text added to the scrollwork, the base shaded and highlighted, as well as some of the gems and blood drops being touched up to make them pop again (yes, I really should use varnish...)

 

The Space Hulk Artefact I went and magnetised so it can be used in Space Hulk or as an objective marker and tbh, I love having any excuse to improve my marble painting skills.
