It's eyes glower red in the dark haze of smoke, it's roar lashes out in devastating power. It's grinding tread crushes all before, lesser men snuffed out in an instant, all who stand before the might of the War Pig come undone. The Bellum Sus strides forth and brings death unto the foes of the Emperor. Well, the beasty took three full days to paint. What do you guys think of her? Let me know how it goes game wise, My groups looking at all getting super heavy's and Our other marine player and I have got our eyes on one of them The big skull symbolizes the AV15 Aquilla Strongpoint it pulled down in one turn of firing and the smaller ones are 10 models per skull where it wiped out almost a hundred combined Ork and Necron blob that was advancing towards the Imperial lines, again in one turn of firing. Total kill count just for the Fell Blade for the Tournament was: 1 Aquilla Strongpoint (plus all the broadsides and fire warriors inside) 6 Killa Kans 3 Deff Dreads 150 Ork Boys 60 Necron Warriors 3 Mauler fiends 8 Wraith Guard Stick a Techmarine behind it to repair it's lost hull points and you're golden. Just two pieces of advice, keep a squad or two behind it to protect the rear and NEVER let the Transcendent C'tan get close enough to touch the tank. With all the Phantoms, Revenants and other such nasties around here, I figured the 3rd needs something to cock punch them all. Up next is probably more Marines. I've still got one Tactical Squad to go, 2 Devastator squads and a command squad. Then there's a Rhino, a Razor Back and another Storm Talon. Then it's all done, no under coat, no bare plastic. The skulls on the Fellblade are decals (with a slight touch up to make them pop), I don't think I can do skulls that small just yet. I needed two more Lascannon and well, didn't have two more I can mount to Marines, so I made my own. What do you think of these 'snub-nose Marauder pattern man portable cannons'? I do think that they could benefit from the stocks of the plasma gun base maybe at an "at ease" pose so it fits with the shoulder guard, however that's easy to say sitting here at my computer. I have noticed that you have squeezed every inch of "in motion/dynamic" poses out of your minis but I am willing to bet that even the Marines Malevolent take a second to relax between stacking bodies like cord wood!
