TITH I totally caved at the last minute and bought the Eldar codex, Farseers, 4 boxes of Guardians and the Aeldari half of the Eldritch Omens. I have been waiting years for this update to the model range having not played Eldar since 3rd ed.

TITH, I completed my first Anger & Arrogance vow. I made my second vow and hope it gets above freezing this week.

Took some pics to wrap up Anger & Arrogance vow 2. Not going to win any awards except "table ready."

Welcome Rusted Boltgun, we have some sacred machine oils lying around here some where for that :smile.:

Spent another day wondering it its worth getting the Executioner model before it leaves, never cut down resin to put a Deathwatch shoulder pad on yet.

I think it’s part of the ‘rotation’ section? So it might be back at some point. That said, I’m looking at grabbing the Armour Through the Ages set for the purposes of painting a marine that is not majority white or silver before it vanishes for an unknown amount of time.

Completed my first transfer from a GW pot to a dropper bottle.

I did this a couple months ago when I restocked on paint, after all my old paints had dried up from disuse. The transfer went pretty easy, I added a mL of distilled water to each pot to thin it slightly and used some mini plastic funnels to do the transfer. I got like a 50-pack of the funnels and didn't bother cleaning them.

What I regretted later was not adding agitators/mixers to the droppers, so that's what I'd encourage you to do. Turned like 5 minutes of shaking to get a decent paint mix into a quick 30-60 second shake.

I'm running out of space in the Really Useful Box I keep my paint pots. The GW pots are low and wide so I bought some 10ml empty bottles from Instar Paints. They come with an acrylic agitator in each bottle. I picked up a twin pack of syringes too (as well as their Soap products and a small bottle of Metal+ to experiment with). They are pricier than the likes of Amazon but I knew what I was getting as I already have some of their kit and I like to support smaller businesses where I think the product is good (I like their Soap products, Pure Black and Gloss+, yet to really play with their paints as it is too easy to buy the GW I am comfortable with).

As I get through my GW colours, I'll transfer them to the slightly smaller volume bottles. Annoyingly, larger bottles like the Vallejo ones don't fit in my storage box. Grr.

Edit: on reflection, I think larger bottles and a little water would have been the way to go but now I have made my bed...

TITHI finished up the weapons for my Drop Pod, Asha laid another coat of red on one of the doors.

Probably spent way too much time on interior weapons but they’re done! Now to paint the rest of the thing….

I'll go again lol.  TITH, I built the rest of the first 9 IH marines I'm building (waiting on something special for the sergeants.)  They are mostly ready, just need to put bolter arms on. :biggrin.:

TITHI continued work on my scout Sgt. I can tell that I’m falling into the trap of ‘hey, let’s take an obscene amt of time on every mini’ but he’s a sergeant and I’m kind of prototyping an updated scheme.
