Alas Company Master Semper, I probably won't get the black knight portion of my vow completed in time. They're definately tabletop ready, but not at the point where I could say I'd be done with them. It turns out I apparently HATE painting bikers!

Well unless you let me exchange them for the 155 dreadnought I painted while I slacked off on my duties teehee.gif .

Sorry to hear that Retaliation. And I know how you feel about bikes... :rolleyes:

 

Unfortunately this means that your 500 completed points will not count either. I cannot allow the change in the vow for a number of reasons, but bottom line is, you're stuck with the bikes... I suggest you make a last minute effort and do them - you got until Thursday anyway...

Great! I thought the DA Strategium was eerily quiet for some time... Well done Disruptor - your completion is registered! thumbsup.gif Great mix of FW parts there - it certainly makes for a very unique unit!

@ Cerroneth: I got you down for 1,800pts.

Vow 1: 515

Vow 2: 250

Vow 3: 600

Vow 4: 290

Vow 5: 145

Total: 1,800

Should I make any adjustments?

Facmanpob,  That unit blows me away.  Your paint scheme for the Guardians ensures that the fallen will know some lineage of the DA are coming for them.  At the same time it is so divergent.  Your work is always fun to look at and I'm looking forward to seeing the whole force in one pict!

 

Congrats Grand Master Belial on taking on that huge beast!  It looks great, and I especially like how each side of the tower differs just a little bit to keep it interesting.  My favorite has to be the flames between the skulls as well as the clean work on the "shields".    Again, well done!

 

Disruptor_fe404, that is a very unique unit.  You've got pieces from all over the place and have painted them up nicely.  It's a fun squad to look at and I notice something new every time I look at the pict.  Intimidating.

 

I'm here to update my progress on Sammael, my vow.  I'm finished with him and just waiting to get a phone with a working camera.  Glad to be a small part of our soon to be victory!  Keep up the great work guys!

Tried so hard to do something to show how I feel about the Sons of the Lion in the ETL2, this is how it turned out, writing done with a lil art pen.

When the final completions are in I can go about naming these guys correctly.

Really really impressive effort there cod_lover...

 

Too bad I wouldn't qualify for any of your characters!

 

I actually did try and get some time aside this weekend and did the base coat + white details con 36 tactical marines (took the pics of "before")...but by the time I got to do the silver I was pretty sick of painting hehe

 

After that would have needed to do the red casings + lenses + painting bases...no way I can pull it off in timely manner.

 

Plus, those 36 bodies were "only" 500 points...and hopefully it won't come down to that!

 

Sorry for the rant/vent...needed to get it out after quite a few hours trying this weeked :P

This is a) a humongous effort, b) very well executed, c) great fun with all those characters there... ;) What I really need to commend you on though, is the banner! Amazing free hand there - tons of respect man! :tu:

 

As the Master of Recruits goes, he looks vicious with the LC there... :tu:

 

Now with this completion we get our completion rate to 50%, total completions a bit shy of 40k and we're definately leaders of the ETL. Also Cod is looking in a good position to become Champion unless of course Liberame has something to say about it.

Thank you guys.

I really enjoyed the ETL (if you couldn't tell), and learned lots too, hope to get some more/better pics soon, also Grotsmashas challenges helped so will update pics there too.

Oh and fear not Capt. Semper, Liberame will eclipse all tongue.png

Greetings brothers! I have successfully moved my fleet to a more secure location, but as stated previously I will be unable to complete my vow. Guess I should have left out the Greenwing portions :-( I'm super excited to see all the amazing work done in this thread. I shall report to chamber 42 for my banner of shame.
