Okay Thamier... now I'm REALLY impressed. I thought you were making an alternative defiler at first... didn't realize this was a chaos knight. That's seriously kick ass in scope. Can't wait to see it all painted up. :jawdrop:

so did i, i mean it kinda snowballed, my plan was a defiler standing on two legs, but when ever others saw it they said oh your building a imperial knight?

And after a while it turned into a defiler/ count as chaos knight.

here is some wip pics of the reaper autocannon mount for the arms

 

and just after i uploaded these did i remember its the same mount i wanted to be useable for the lascannon mount too, so gonna have to go look if they fit on it, still lots to do and gotta build the amo boxes to mount on the bottom too

Can't believe how much character you have managed to put into these large constructs, and that reaper is just icing on the cake.

thanks alot, its far from done, but i do try my best, i really like converting and building, just takes forever

Ruinnn! These boards will be the ruin of me! I swear some of you collude with the voices in my head... *eyes thamier, and others, suspiciously* Talented entities of the Warp building such wonderful creations that give equal measures of awe and inspiration. There's more at work here, I can feel it. The side-by-side, and how it opens my eyes to the scale of the Knight compared to the scale of the Defiler parts is very insightful. The scaled up Decimator inspired shoulder plating is perfectly suited to the entire construct and plants yet another seed in my mind. *mutters to the voices to be quiet for a minute* You're doing a great job blending 'freehand' building with precision building; not an easy feat. Yes, it takes time and some trial-and-error, but the final parts are proof positive that it's worth it if you see it through; the 'tunnel' that is the build can be long and dark when you're in the middle. Keep. It. Up.

 

And with that... *runs from the thread pulling hair from his head yelling "No! I don't need more amazing inspiration! No! I will not be tempted!" and promptly trips on something, stumbling into the darkness*

thamier, Subtle Discord, I'll just put words to what everybody in their right mind should be thinking anyway: You two guys need to cooperate on a project as soon as possible. Please make it a modular kit for a daemon engine that plays to your respective strenghts and creativity. It will be awesome and it will sell like hotcakes. I'll take two, please. Thank you! :smile.:

on a unrelared note, showed my nephew the thread, he seemed to like but my nice thinks i have way too few followers to be interresting :)

 

now i just need to convince my nephew that chaos space marines is the way to go, when he starts 40k, he has a little warhammer but in shure he will get there

Wow! Just WOW!! This looks awesome mate, outstanding work on the head. I think the only tiny little thing letting it down is the feet. But other than that this is going to look very impressive when painted.

will be able to post some pictures soon, i hope.

will have to put the chaos knight on hold, need to do some painting.

hopefully you guys will let me know what you think and give me some awsome pointers and ideas.

 

on a side note, i quite like the crimson lord with demonheart bike and blade of the relentless.

 

him and his slaanedh spawn managed to take out 30 gaunts then two big mawlocks or something that looked like mawlocks, was a hard and trilling fight, a real nail biter, 1hp and save vs one hit indtant death.

tornament in a little over a weeknand im allready preparing to have my rear handed to me in everything.

 

but that also means that the defiler knight isnput on hold.

 

but going over my army adding some mmore highlights and detailsnmbers on my objective markers.

 

and some more highlights and freehand on my noice marines.

soon its time for tournament, this weekend, and every time i get beaten badly, sometimes i get really discurraged, but i also really like chaos space marines just sad they are sooooooo uncompetative compare to everything else.

 

but if i play more ill get better and that might help.

 

anyways i been going over my noise marines gonna go slaanesh this tournament and try it out.

 

so ill thought ill show you one of them not quite done but getting there
