@deathspectresgt7 aye I had to cover up the fact I keep butchering the space wolf hairy heads some how :p

now for a wee update, working on a moritat to paint for the ETL so I thought I'd have a go doing some putty work as armond and daemonclaw are so busy at it. It may not be beautiful, but it's my stab at recreating the old metal raptor champions chest piece, or at least a homage to it. Enjoyjoy!

My vow pre paint obligatory photos, yes you see a rhino box, I'm waiting on turret/plasticard for my pred build. So til it comes I'll crack on with moritat, and sicaran. Found my old raptor champ so borrowed his head and jump pack, and I ran a pin through the hinge on thebtank lid so I can have the tank for display with commander, and in battle sealed up! I've had this tank just sitting there since march, the etl is a suitable push I think :p I'm going to get painting like a dervish, hopefully more updates tonight

Can't believe you haven't gotten any paint on the tank!!! Your restraint is amazing: If I build a piece, the only thing I want to do is just paint it.... anyway - I'm happy you included it in your vow, so we can expect to see great pics of it with a nice coat of midnight blue on it!

So it appears the recent crash took out a few posts! However in the meanwhile I was not lax. The following photos include, turret magnetisation, sponsons, a battered old chaos iron warriors predator (who kindly donated his sponsons) and various other bits and bobs that have gone into this conversion. @Augustus B, aye I just couldn't get a hold of a russ turret for the life of me, so I snatched up the first predator one I found! It is serving me well

@kilofix, Its also incredibly fun to magnetise, and make the turret lid hinged :p
