Greetings to you all!

 

I have for many a year been plucking away in the WIP thread, but as most of the things I put there are actually finished by the time I post, I thought it a bit more apt to have a thread here as well - and as there is not far from though to action, thus it is done now.

 

The aim of this thread is for me to post pictures of the various B&C permissable armies that I usually work on and the units belonging to them, which I finish. Currently, I have the following armies in my possession:

• Dark Angels (1st, 2nd and Battle Company) - about 5000 points total
• Chaos Space Marines (Death Guard, World Eaters, Black Legion & Fallen Angels) - about 4500 points
• Chaos Daemons (Tzeentch, Nurgle & Khorne) - about 3000 points
• Imperial Guard allies (Death Korps of Krieg) - about 400 points
• Grey Knight allies - about 400 points
• Tyranids - about 8000 points

As you can see, there is plenty of potential for varied things to be shown and displayed here - and I look forward to sharing with you all.

And therefore, to open the ball and show off what I have done, I will commence with a picture of some Screamers of Tzeentch that I finished just last night. They are the newest addition to my Chaos Daemons army, to which I only have another 5 models left to paint, before all is done (though the army is not "finished" by any count).

Last week I managed to finish this critter, who has also been lying on the desk for a few years. I am well pleased, that I have managed to make a small impression on the vast amount of unpainted miniatures, that I have lying around.

Well - I have finally managed to finish some of my Death Korps of Krieg - and I am rather enamoured with them. I love the look, and I think it a pity that Forge World has not expanded on the line. I would LOVE to add some snipers og anti-tank crews with "panzerfausts" or "RPG" to the force. That would be wicked.

So, I managed to finish my Khornate Predator; it is magnetized, so I can change between Destructor and Annihilator modes, which I am sure will be both helpful and economical. Also, the Havoc Launcher is with a magnet...

Those Chosen look great, I like the purple accent colour for the daemonic manifestations on their armour. They look fantastic as a unit.

Once I get around to painting the few Possessed Marines (x5), that I have lying on my desk, I will give them the same treatment. Even though they are fluffy, they are still probably the worst choice in the Codex...along with the Chosen :-)

Love your models, not such a huge fan of the bases, the chaos models particularly. You are obviously a really good painter and the models look great, the bases though are a bit monotone for me. Overall though, great stuff.

Thank you for the comment, Submarine! I will see what I can do about the bases. I have an ambition concerning the use of weathering powders, so why not give it a shot on those bases? I might end up with something good.

 

Further, I have managed to finish 2 Dauntless-class light cruisers (lance variant) for Battlefleet Gothic.

So, yet more work has been done in the Forge and thus I can present it here. It is always a lovely feeling to complete something. First up are two stern Commissars from the Death Korps of Krieg, who will delight in imposing some harsh and brutal order; sadly, the Death Korps being what they are, usually means that the Commissars are bored! That will not, however, prevent me from fielding them, as they are wickedly sweet models!

Next, a model I have had lying around for ages and not really bothered with. A Dark Apostle! Also a harbinger of order, though it is an order of a slightly different kind! The model is also sweet, it just oozes style and "feel". I love it. I severely doubt, however, that it will  see much use on the game board...come to think of it, I have never, ever seen a Dark Apostle in the game...

3 Black Legion Chaos Space Marines. All good, I say! With regards to the future, I am planning on doing "Kranon the Relentless" as a Black Legion Chaos Lord, a Black Legion Sorceror and a Warpsmith. Further, I will also be doing a World Eater - Black Legion adherent - Vindicator. That will be in the same vein as the Predator previously shown.
