Classic is indeed classic - and I am loving the fact that I managed to finish that particular Terminator, as I can now field two legal Deathwing Terminator squads...and thus a legal Deathwing army! Pure win, I do say!

 

Another thing that is pure win, is the fac that I have now managed to finish off Supreme Grand Master Azrael, Chapter Master of the 1st Legion, Keeper of the Truth! That is also something that has dragged on for years and years and years. But, I found my muse and now he has joined the hallowed ranks of finished Dark Angels and can lead the Legion to war!

Another model for the collection. This time, the Limited Edition Primus Medicae. He will be the first of a number of HQ choices for my fledgling XVII Legion army! The model is stunning, and the official picture does not do it justice at all! One day I am sure that Forge World will release a readily available Primus Medicae. On that day, my 30k Dark Angels will be founded.

Well, my Horus Heresy era Salamanders have been very idle for a while now, but last week, I finally managed to finish a bunch of Pyroclasts and my first Rapier Quad Launcher. I will be getting a further two of these at some later point in time!

Thank you very much! It was a bit of chore to get through, but I am a fan of the end result! Gamingwise, it has only been so-and-so, but still, I am loving the model and the theme it gives to the game!

 

I have since then also managed to paint up a Salamander Tactical Support Squad - 5 marines with plasma guns. I am sure they will make a significant impact on the table...once I get to have a game of HH!

Last hobby update of the year! It has been a busy year with not enough hobbying done (well, it is all a matter of priorities...), a deployment to Kabul with the army, new job and getting married - all in all, a very good year for me!

Well, so far January has been good on the hobby front. I have managed to do a wee bit of Age of Sigmar, but far more importantly, I have managed to advance not one, but two of my armies! First up, a Ministorum Priest for my Death Korps of Krieg army:

 

 

Secondly - a bit more substantial update - two Horus Heresy Salamanders Apothecaries and even a massive Contemptor Dreadnought. The first piece of armour for my Salamanders Legion:

 

 

 

I am especially proud of the power sword, which is wielded by the MkIV Apothecary. 

 

 

 

And here, Varrun, brother-Contemptor of the XVIII Legion. Is he not just droll!
