Ha! The Palatine Worlds shall BURN! furious.gif

Fantastic job Thunor, that Contemptor is a BEAST in every sense of the word, a monstrous golem of living magma here to punish the enemy of the Warmaster. I imagine you need a break after that. tongue.png

Cheers guys. It was so awkward to put together, partially painted with the pose, etc. Pretty happy with how it turned out :)

Next one will be in a running pose I think, and the last will be a 'character', not a hq but an important guy with conversions.

Now back to finishing off the tactical squad.

That dreadnought is just glorious. woot.gif

Oh sweet Emperor, hold on, he's pulled that guy's head off. Egads! blink.png

Also, good to see Lupercal's lads were savvy enough to stay out of the way of that monster.devil.gif

...Having a really awkward colour for their armour probably helped, though.laugh.png

Cormac, kind of. At least in my own head. I struggle to put it down with it look a like a 5 year old has done it. If only I had kids I could pretend they did it.

I'm going to get the heavy support squad done then I have:

Centurion/Praetor

Apothecary

2x 10 man tacticals

10 man heavy support

Contemptor

Then I'll try and put something together for them.

Second sergeant is done.i've unfortunately given him a Volkite Serpenta, which tac sergeants can't have. Oh well, that's what happens when you lend your copy of Betrayal away.

Splendid work Thunor! I like how he appears to be quickly surveying the battlefield upon that rock. happy.png

P.S. Meh, if anyone complains just say you're using it as a Plasma Pistol. tongue.png

Sergeants in Betrayal can have those, right? huh.png

P.P.S. BTW, what do you think of the new Death Guard accessories Forge World released a little while ago? Will you be using any for you Infernal Guard or would that be to much like the canon Legion?

Dak'ir 'Flame of Nocturne' - Chaplain of the Infernal Guard

The Chaplains of the XIV Legion fight with a fire and fury that embodies the hostile world they call home. They're able to stoke the embers that exist at the heart of the Dreadnoughts, awakening them to destroy the enemies of the Imperium. Finally they govern the Promethium Rites that all initiates must pass to join the Infernal Guard and progress to the 8th circle.

Brilliant work Thunor, he looks very distinctive and unique with that dark red paint job, bronze skull helmet and hand-scythe. :)

My one nitpick would be I can't help but feel he should have a drake scale cloak for a man in his esteemed position.
