betrayer41
I can't wait to see you do some terminators and that dreadnought I cannot wait for custode terminators I'm assuming they'll be resin. Ok I need your help, I love master of mankind and am on my second listen. I don't know how to base my custodes and sisters. Webway like or destroyed prospero. Here are my three options. First is obviously is prospero this is the base I've decided on for wolves http://i784.photobucket.com/albums/yy123/wareagle411/4DD35F7C-7064-4479-9862-1F93E1972725_zpsubsbgrug.jpg These next two are what I'm thinking for webway http://i784.photobucket.com/albums/yy123/wareagle411/CCCE531E-AC41-4617-8906-620A4EB96C7E_zpsqax8ojhd.jpg http://i784.photobucket.com/albums/yy123/wareagle411/20760509-3CD2-4B16-B8E2-114BC8D26650_zpsrfedkxku.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/293519-the-night-of-the-wolf/page/49/#findComment-4613197 Share on other sites
Lord Blackwood
i like the webway base choices , the propero ones seem a bit minimalist but thats good cause your models will pop more Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/293519-the-night-of-the-wolf/page/49/#findComment-4613203 Share on other sites
Dantay VI
I like the second set, although the eldar markings give me pause.... I like the fact that the bases look busted up, just like they should be in a degraded webway where the custodes and SoS are under daemonic assault. The third ones look too pristine, plus all the multi levels and little cut out bits might make posing models a nightmare unless you are happy to chop legs etc Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/293519-the-night-of-the-wolf/page/49/#findComment-4613205 Share on other sites
betrayer41
Thanks for the feedback guys. I love this part i feel the bases are as important as the model i like the webway base choices , the propero ones seem a bit minimalist but thats good cause your models will pop more I like the minimalist for the wolves so i can add burnt books and broken glass I like the second set, although the eldar markings give me pause.... I like the fact that the bases look busted up, just like they should be in a degraded webway where the custodes and SoS are under daemonic assault. The third ones look too pristine, plus all the multi levels and little cut out bits might make posing models a nightmare unless you are happy to chop legs etc I actually really like the eldar marking given its the eldar web way. And i didn't even think about posing.....those may be a night mare. Has anyone ever tried magnetizing to bases?
