Brothers! The ETL is upon us! And with the Khorne Daemonkin codex, we have some very viable combinations! I expect abundant and generous vows made to the Realm of Chaoss, where you can make your sacrifices to the blood god.

Seriously everyone: Chaos has won twice in the ETL, now it is time to show everyone there is no hope for the lap dogs of the Imperium.

Even those still dabbling in the past (HH) may well dedicate themselves to Chaos and Khorne, for Imperial Armour 13 and other supplements now make it possible to vow units to Chaos.

So sign up here and show everyone that there is only an endless tide of slaughter and bloodshed in the future!

As broken sons from a broken father we were deceived and betrayed by there lies, beside our blood as brothers, all have been lies

since there betrayal we have slaughtered them in billions and we will not rest until the skull of there false god lay in the hand of the true god.

Greetings, brothers!

Quick question: how would you represent augmented inductii?

Normal marines just don't do them justice, in my mind.

They are... augmented, right?

So they should probably be bulkier, even twisted in shape to some extent.

Maybe have some cables connecting their body parts?

I'd love to hear your ideas.

Oh hey, this is a thing.

I, OPTIMVSCHRIST, stand a proud Son of Angron. I command the 88th Heavy Assault Company, the Crimson Ludus, with Ultor, Blood-Priest of Kharanath as my proxy. For 10,000 years we have spilled highrider blood and taken the skulls of the Corpse-Emperor's slaves, and shall continue until called to the Bloodfather's throne!

I just found this thread, whats going on in here and how to get a sweet maw logo??

Edit: I think i figured it out, lol, general world eaters hang out thread? I've been hanging out over in the HH tactica thread but sometimes i feel like i post more hang-out-esque stuff than actual tactica, lol.

I have been thinking about this also.  I think i'm going to do mine through paint and squad markings rather than modeling.  I thought about using some of my CSM ccw arms since they have some extra trim on them, but i think i'm going to go with red knee plates (i'm doing blue knee plates on my regular tac marines) or some other red armor badging to represent the start of the armor color change.

Someone on here mentioned using the FW berzerker kit and shaving off the bunny ears for their word bearers, it resulted in a super mean looking head.  That might be a cool way to go.  i vaguely recall the ears being described as a symbol on veteran status so I don't think i would run the hemls with the ears for inducti since they are fresh out of bodt super recruits.

They looked really awesome though...i'll see if i can find the post.

here we go...

From DuskRaider, they look freakin awesome.

I just found this thread, whats going on in here and how to get a sweet maw logo??

Well, you could start by slavishly following my World Eaters thread, commenting favourably on it and saying pretty please ;)

...

Nah, just kidding -- I'll be cooking up some badges for our new members soon -- welcome to the fold! It's good to see some activity in this thread again!

ANGRON APPROVES!

Regarding the question of the augmented Inductii, how about using slightly bigger bare arms for them, for starters? From AoS Bloodreavers or Beastmen, for instance? You could also collect small cables (from various Space Marine weapons,...) and carefully graft them to the arms to hint at some kind of crude bionics.

As for using the "earless" berzerker helmets as Sarum pattern helmets, you might want to check out Poom's World Eaters thread as well, as he was basically the first one to use this idea, IIRC, and to the best possible effect as well!

Yep! Bloodreavers bare arms are a good idea.

Do they fit well with space marines?

As I've never seen them in person, I have no idea about proportions.

I was also thinking about guitar wire sections connecting head and backpack.

Oh, and mid heresy red/white scheme for sure!

Ps: I think I already said it in its proper post, but that Angron is pure awesome.

@ Khârn the Bloody: I can only talk about the snapfit Bloodreavers from the AoS starter box, but their arms fit Marine bodies just fine -- in fact, I've already used some on my 30k World Eaters.

Even if they end up looking too long or too muscular, though, that could actually be a sign of the rushed and imperfect implantation process -- you could even embrace that effect by going for arms of different lenght, like human and Beastman arms, for a lopsided, grotesque look. Come to think of it, my old 40k Possessed use ork boy arms, which makes them look mutated, but not grotesquely so. I think it might be cool to play around with a slightly overmuscled, malproportioned look.

In other news: Brothers, step forward and claim your badges:

Wear them with pride!

I have said this before, but just in case: You will want to move those badges to your own galleries, webspace or what have you and then add them to your signature, so they'll still appear even if I should decide to delete them from my own webspace at some point.

that i will, ah sharp edges will be good to decapitate some weakblooded astartes with.

if one wish to show some fluff on my worldeaters of the 5 company, would it be best to start a new topic or use this one?

im guessing a new one to not clog up in here but i thought i ask

Cheers, guys! :)

@ Hathis: I believe the answer to those questions would be...yes and yes: How about creating a dedicated log (in the WIP section or here in the Chaos forum) to show us your ongoing work on your army in more detail and a nice, meaty presentation post (with the models you have so far and the basic fluff outline) here in the thread, and a link to the aforementioned dedicated topic. That's what I would like to see!

"I see you all before me, champions of the Gods. You believe that you have made the right choices in your lives; that you can plot schemes to turn your enemies against one another, that the extreme is the only way forward and that nothing truely dies.

You have all been decieved.

What you have is not true war. You have a mockery. Some of you may wield a blade but you do not know how to use it. You do not need grace to end a life or poison to cripple your foe. They are not worthy prey.

Yet I have walked the one True Path. Strength is the only true currency of value. You can try to block but the Path shall break you down. Dodging merely stalls the inevitable. Attack with all your might and you will not have a need to block of parry; your enemy will be dead at your feet before they can even try to lay a blow.

That is what I have learned from the Path brothers. Do you have the will to walk it?"

Greetings sons of Angron, recently I have started on my own warband that have originated from the good ol' World Eaters Legion. While I have not decided on alot of stuff for them yet, I do have my champion above as an offering to those more experienced in the pits. I'll be sure to try and update the army as best I can when I get new models to play around with but for now, I hope you enjoy my little teaser along with the champ :smile.:
