Chaeron
Anyone start reading yet? Any juicy bits? I might start tonight - or abstain for my brothers who have not yet received theirs. Lucien Eilam
Anyone start reading yet? Any juicy bits? Started and finished. It's all juice. A veritable Chekhov's arsenal of foreshadowing. There's barely a chapter you'll be able to make it through without going "hang on, he did what to who?!" or similar. A lot of people are going to be starting Black Legion armies this year. Olis
#660 in hand, and a weighty tome it is! Â I can't be the only person who had a moments hesitation in even removing it from the tissue paper...? Â #1197 for me. Arrived this morning. I looked at the cardboard it came in with "Black Library First Editions" written on one side. I had my first hesitation. Number two was the tissue paper held together with the small circular chaos star sticker. My third was when I was looked at the unabashed tome itself. It has a nice weight to it, the tactile sensation of the cover is really nice and, let's face it, it looks pretty damned cool. Colour me happy. :DÂ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/295140-the-talon-of-horus/page/12/#findComment-3794603 Share on other sites

Lucien Eilam
Anybody have a brief summary for those of us who don't mind spoilers? I'd advise against it. Like Legion, I think it's a story that's better if you get the surprises and revelations in the right order. Balthamal
Finished it. Twice. Going to wait a few days and a further read before posting anything. Want to crank my jaw off the floor and try to wrap my broken mind around it. Vesper
How many pages is the book ? You guys read it with the time it would take to read a bus ticket or something so I'm getting worried. Lucien Eilam
Don't worry, I read fast and happened to have the afternoon off today. It's standard BL novel length (~350 pages for the main story, the extras take it up to ~400), but more packed with detail than just about anything they've ever published. Dosjetka
Hum. The Talon of Horus wallpapers have been taken off the BL website which is a damn shame because I didn't manage to nag them before they disappeared. Any chance that someone here has them and could provide them for both myself and anyone else who'd like them, please?
