Adra'Melek Posted November 21, 2014 Share Posted November 21, 2014 Yeah, I have been thinking of doing an Alpha Legion kill team from them (EXO-Lords) for ages but it was always a way down the list. So when this came up I got the Master sniper (the above is the spotter with a few modifications). I have the sniper waiting in the wings. They're designed to go on flat bases but a bit of modifications to the cloak with green stuff and it seems to fit the moulded one ok. The armour was just Ironbreaker with two washes of Drakenhof Nightshade and one of Coelia Greenshade. The highlights are Straken Green. Originally the highlights were blue but it looked too Night Lordy (the blue is quite dark), but I think green makes it look a bit different. A 40mm GW round base, 0.5mm plasticard, 1mm plastic rods, brass strips cut from a Forge World brass etch sheet, and Grandt Line 0.8mm (0.032") rivets.I used 55 rivets in total (plus a couple I dropped), so I'm running low.I cut, clipped and sanded the materials to match the angle of the base's sides. The idea for deck plating with rivets down the edges was shamelessly stolen from Heathen/Hyaenidae's entry for this very project.
