~Drakzilla~
@Raktra: With pleasure! The banner, I mean. Or do I? ;) Here is a blingier banner for our fearless leader Simison: And last but not least, a banner for the Arch-traitors: Kelborn 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/311978-general-discussion/page/132/#findComment-4478128 Share on other sites
Doctor Perils
I can make a "crazy guy in the corner" banner for Sanguinius, if you want one. Thorn, I've already gone over the rules to make sure they'd fit. I'll also see what I can do with 33x100. Probably can't fit all the icons on there... Yes please Also, I wasn't meaning you for the rules checking, but other members (Mikhal, Sigismund and simison all have signatures not in accordance with the rules ) Is mine proper now? Aah, I'm no expert, but at least for the image it's okay :) Before they were spread out over more then 100 px in height, which wasn't okay. Also, you have less then ten lines of normal sized writing, so I think it's okay :tu: simison 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/311978-general-discussion/page/132/#findComment-4478130 Share on other sites
simison
Awesome, Drak! I appreciate the extra bling! Sig, I like the passage, and it brings up a question I hadn't considered before. How do the Wardens handle the implantation process? Perhaps the Ultramarines or the Imperial Fists should serve as a base. Sigismund229
@sim: I don't think there's any info on how the Fists and Ultras handle it, although for the Fists I imagine it might entail some form of suffering. I'll keep thinking on possible ways the Wardens could do it. simison 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/311978-general-discussion/page/132/#findComment-4478376 Share on other sites
Skalpynock
Praetorian of Dorn shows how Imperial Fists induction works. I'm a bit tired to expand on that, but the process is extremely painful until the subject gets the Astartes unability to feel pain. They are awake and aware for most of the time, and get their eyelids sewn open for several days or weeks for injections. Kelborn
I would also like a personalized banner, if you don't mind. Ah, pity. Last night I was fighting on the same side as a 'Darth Kelborn', who managed to edge me out of top place on our team. I was very curious if it was you. Hm...kind like that guy. :P But Kelborn is a nickname I came up with two years ago. My old game nickname was either Nightwolf (deriving from my ESL league era with Jedi Knight: Outcast) or Sgt.Wolf (Enemy Territory \m/ ^^ one of the best games ever). Sigismund229
Clans could vary what they use. These two aren't clan specific. They're used by the heads of the Leighai and Cneassai(the two branches of the CL apothacerion) and are relics from the days of the High Kings of Mycenae that have beem brought to the legion by Hectarion. The grails/horns used by the rest of the Cneassai and Leighai are copies of these two Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/311978-general-discussion/page/132/#findComment-4478527 Share on other sites

bluntblade
Ah yes, the Mycenaean flechette. For the killing of small, lethal animals, accept no substitute. I had an idea for Madrigal and decided to just run with it: Yimura Sakeda had seen much beauty in his comparatively short career as a warrior, but he still felt that nothing, save perhaps Terra, could compete with Madrigal. The vessel bore him up, over the peaks of the mountains. Here and there he glimpsed Aspirants and neophytes, sparring in the courtyards or undergoing tests on the slopes. Truly, nothing but the Throneworld could vie with his home. Not even Qarith Prime as it now stood, a monument to what Man could achieve, clawing his way back from the abyss. In many ways Madrigal represented the same thing. And it was not tainted for the Lightning Bearers as Qarith Prime was. The confusion and dismay at the Emperor's choice had quietened down, but not subsided. He let go of his worries for now as the craft soared free of the peaks, rising towards one of the floating cities. All these great structures were beautiful, wrought in the shape of clouds. To the east was the Haven of Commerce, smooth and stratified like lenticular clouds. Further south lay the Astral College, its peculiar shape derived from asperatus clouds with great peaks and spires above and below. To look at it out of the corner of one's eye, the glass almost appeared to flow. But ahead lay the greatest of them all, like a vast anvil rendered in diamond, ceramite and gold. For all its beauty, it was redolent of primal force, one that almost nothing could stand against. This was no accident, for here was the court of the Stormborn.
