So...uh...the AoS Presecutors have this as a bit in their kit.

...might have to buy at least one set at some point >_>

Seeing as Slips has moves away from this look for the Scions, maybe this could be how Malus ends up looking? Seems appropriate for him to adopt the storm imagery.

I didn't want to spoil AO's amazing announcement, so I'm making the announcement here.

I will not be making a FW purchase. The money, instead, will be devoted to upcoming medical bills because my wife will be admitting herself into a mental ward to help her fight her illnesses for a small period of time. For those who are inclined, prayers are appreciated. For all others, thoughts are welcomed.

My thoughts are with you and your wife too, I hope she gets better soon.

Do you have a Legion warcry, Sim? Because in battle, I'm imagining them using the Roman trick of shouting intio their shields to amplify the noise. If you have one I might add that to the Shrike battle. Also, the book cover in my head wants a snappy, aggressive subtitle.

Only vaguely. Alex has his 'death bell' ring when he bangs his weapon against Aegis, so there was a thought that every now and then the Wardens will bang their weapons against their shields for a wordless cry.

There's always the standard 'For' war cries. "For the Warmaster/Emperor/etc".

But a truly unique war cry? Hadn't thought of one yet.

Great, now I can't stop envisioning the Halcyon Wardens in Phalanx formation with Alexandros at their head quoting 300:

Alexandros: "Wardens! What is your profession?!"

Wardens: "HA-OOH! HA-OOH! HA-OOH!"

As for a Warcry, how about... "We are the Shield! We are the Spear!" Maybe a bit generic, but it fits their nature fairly well I think, protectors of the Imperium, death of it's foes.

Idea:Nos Patrem! Magistribellum! Imperator! Populos Imperium!

Translation: For our father! For the Warmaster! For the Emperor! For the people of the Imperium!

Or

Por populos et imperator!

For the people and the Emperor

Edit: Yet anoyher idea

Scutorum populum et gladium imperator sum!

We are the people's shield and the emperor's sword
