Thanks Brothers. :biggrin.:

You should split up your pictures over a couple of posts, so I can like more of them. Crazy paintjob.

Love your bases too, I can't tell if they're real or painted.

Real slate plates painted and washed. I really like this slate stuff. Gives the miniatures a bit more weight.

What's that? Is that schiefer? If it is, I can imagine it gives more weight.

Edit: Wikipedia to the rescue. It's indeed schiefer. Might be a better option than stuffing the bases with Milliput.

Throwing Dreadnoughts... sounds good

I like slate plates because they have a nice texture. When you paint and dry bush them they look like real stones. I also painted the sand on the base green so that it looks a bit like moss.

There's too much to list: the slate, the cheques, the freehand; but how did you get that beautifully shining black? It's gorgeous! That armour must be well cared-for.

The shining comes from the Secret Weapon Algae Wash, which also makes it a bit greenish blue. Sometimes it is a bit too shiny.

In the end I was a bit too lazy to paint battle damage to the armor.:tongue.:

Last part of my vow for Loyalty & Treachery finished. I had to hurry a bit to finish the painting and packing up the stuff to move house.

I hope everything will arrive intact.

Had to pack them close.

Excellent!

Love the black, very nicely done. Also the little scroll on the chainblade is a great touch :tu:  And as usual your capes are seamless

Thanks for sharing.

A force to be reckoned with, very nice.

As the miniatures charge for the nearest piece of cover, which happens to be a drop pod, offering a small amount of safety from the inevitable move Azrael and Seraphicus block the entrance as Seraphicus raises his crozius towards the filthly xenos and mutters two simple words..... "My Pod".

[EDIT] And then I realise its not the Seraphicus model... oh well... FIGHT!" [EDIT]

Thanks all. I've been busy for some time.

Moving house finished... more or less. Most of the Marines arrived without deep strike mishaps.

The Apothecary took care of the accidents. Got some complains about sharing the shelf with Xenos, Heretics and Traitors... I cannot help that for now.

Time to start painting again... :happy.:

He survived transport save in his stasis capsule.

Sooo, haven't found rules that state that Fallen and Dark Angels cannot join forces in the in the 8th edition.

Why am I feeling slightly heretic having these thoughts...

Having very short evenings to paint something and than paint him. Must have left a mark. :tongue.:

The sword got a bit to colorful and I'm not quite happy with the dirt.

Maybe next time.
