Alternative Sisters

Non-combat poses are something I would actually buy. He may be wasting his time expanding to replicate the entire army list, in light of recent rumours anyway. I would totally build a diorama of SoB hanging out in the company day room praying, cleaning bolters, reading scriptures, watching tv...

I hope plastic sisters from Games Workshop won't run him out of business. It'd be a shame to nip such talent in the bud.

Should be here in about a week or so....can't wait.

LOL

Ordered mine i expect them in 2 to 6 weeks maybe longer

I just cant get past the shoulders on those dreamforge models, dunno what they look like without the guards. Might look better to me if they had cloth sleeves and no shoulder guards.

I never looked at the RH line as replacements for SoB. I backed the KS to get the female puritan hat huntress as an Ordo Gereticus Inquisitor. I put my entire pledge other than her into the fantasy Sisters to serve as female Stormcast Eternals for AoS.

Not sisters to me though.

Very interested in the tank kit, non combat poses, and conclave crusaders and death cult models.

Female priest, or other non militant orders to serve as priests would be excellent.

I am also interested in seeing what comes of these types models.  I can't tell you the number of times I have wished a praying sob model.

Nice.....looks mine will be here today or tomorrow. At least they are in my State :biggrin.:

Now to figure out who and how to give one a heavy flamer :dry.:

I'm thinking to either just double the regular flamer side by side(with some greenstuff and trimming to make one foregrip. Or, depending on their height, the FW 30k Legion heavy flamer set. you can use your regular bolter forearm for the front and with trimming, the regular bolter gripping arm for the back. This is provided they aren't set too far apart, but 30k weapons (and indeed marine bodies/hands in general) are slightly smaller then their 40k equivalent and it appears the Grishnak arms are set in a ball joint which should give you some flexibility. Worst case just gap fill with some greenstuff/liquid greenstuff.

Edit: The FW Haistos pattern heavy flamers may be more fitting visually and could physically fit better as they appear to be smaller overall.

Anyone have suggestions for alternative repentica or seraphim?

I ended up taking a bunch of elven dancer looking models and replaced the swords and whips with bolt pistols and hand flamers. It doesn't look at all like women in power armor...but they all have poses that make them look in motion. I'm working on replacing their weird faces with visors and I'm going to just keep them in the lighter armor. In my experience, seraphim die after the first attack they make regardless.

I ordered the blood angels tactical squad hvy bolter and hvy flamer as they seem to be feasible (remove hands) plus they have the back pack attachments. maybe a tad out of scale but should work.
