Check WarhammerTV on YouTube, I recall they once did a really useful tutorial on how to paint White Scars that might be helpful to you. :)

Can't wait to see the primarch's painted Mikhal! As for the white going wrong on Raktra...blood to cover it up if it's that bad? After all, he is supposed to be tearing through some unfortunate loyalist marines

I've already added it to the Reckoning section of Stories. We just need ones for the Crusade, Triumph, Day of Revelation, Insurrection and the Chaotic point of no return.

Raktra can be saved, thx to the blood. But I fear that Kozja needs to be stripped. So does anybody have an idea if there is a cleaner who doesn't affect greenstuff, resin and plastic? Especially the gs work would hurt me if it is ruined.

 

Any tips would save my day.

I always strip paint with Isopropanol and have used it on plastic models with some green stuff (mostly plain surfaces) on them too. But I can't say what that stuff does to detailed GS work.

For painting white over black apply a bone colour first and it should be doable. Might help save on stripping it.

The details are gone. So i have to Strip it. :( i added so many thin layers. Then i addedn more thin layers with the airbrush bit i never was satisfied until.....well. The details were gone.

Sucks that you have to strip your models, I hope everything comes off fine. I heard that the cleaning product simple green will not affect green stuff.

Yeah, I heard that too. Unfortunately i live in germany and we don't have simply green. But I was brave and soaked a brush with isopropanol and slowly rubbed the color off amd then Iused a sonic tooth brush to strip even more of it. Tomorrow I will try it on the rest of the miniature.

So can anybody tell me who this guy might be? ^^(or in this case to whom this unfinished upper body belongs) one hint: he is a primarch and lacks eyessight^^
